I am a long time resident of Farmers Branch (far north Dallas) and will be glad to take digital photos of any existing graves in this area. I have been a genealogist since college and love it. I am still searching for the grave of my great-grandfather William A. Lemmons / Lemons who died around 1917. He has been hard to trace with moving around often from AR to LA to TX to OK. Who knows where he died? Last child was born in Mena, AR but they may have been living in TX when he died. One aunt said he died in Willis, OK. Hmm...the hunt goes on...|

Transfer done. No problem! It was good you included both her number and yours. Can't do it without those!

I appreciate your effort in trying to locate William's grave site. After I had submitted this burial to Find A Grave, (sev. years) I found another listing him in the Perry Cem. in Carrollton.
So much for family lore. I requested the photo for my entry in Keenan Cem. to resolve the issue.
Sorry it took so much of your time.
Thanks again for all you do. I appreciate you so much.

Thanks so very much for taking the photo of George's grave marker. George's parents were long time residents of Farmer's Branch and their surviving son still lives there.

I'm so grateful for your help with these links. And marker photos always speak volumes on F.A.G. memorials. Thanks for all of your contributions!
Thanks for the info. I hit a brick wall prior to the 1850 Census with William P(inkney?) Estep (Sr.?), my great-great-grandfather. I find his wife Sarah in the 1860 and 1870 censuses in Campbell and Heard counties, GA living with my g-grandfather. 1850 shows W. P. born in NC with Sarah in TN. It's interesting that there are 69 Esteps in findagrave in all of GA, including maiden names. I entered many of them here. In TN, there are 415 with 196 in Carter county alone. Carter is just west of NC. I'm not saying the numbers are proportional to the general population - just interesting. In 1850 W. P.'s and Sarah's children born before the mid-1830's were born in TN and those afterward were born in GA. So somewhere back in time, we may find our lines merging.

Calvary Hill is one of my cemeteries I have been working on. I'm not related to anyone buried there though. Try rootsweb.
