It all started with Deep Branch Baptist in Lumberton, NC and Clover Hill Methodist in Lawndale, NC on my mom's side and Walnut Grove Baptist in Moravian Falls, NC on my dad's side. It was amazing to me that I was related to that many people buried in those cemeteries.|

|wheatshocker||Lottie Lowry question|
Do you happen to know what percent Indian (Lumbee?) that Lottie was?
Were both of her parent full-blood Indians, or just one? Which one?
|Rosanna Bencoach||Thank you|
Thank you very much for taking and posting the photo of Faye Medford's tombstone.
Willl try to check Bollingers today. It's not far from my home.

Thank you for the photo of Loy Burris headstone.

I don't know. I will have to physically check to see if there are two stones, or if one of us made an error. Looking back at my photo files,I was mowing rows at Bollingers and there is no way it was taken in another cemetery. It is entirely possible that one is a cenotaph, though.

|James A Gamblin||Mildred Deal|
Thanks for the photo of Mildreds grave site.
|Brian Curdy||Max Curdy and Ann Hinkson|
Thankyou for the corrections, documentation, and suggestions which I have applied. My paternal uncle, Max Agassiz Curdy passed away in Icard in 2008 and my first cousin Ann (Curdy) Hinkson passed away two weeks later. When I left the US Marines in 1980 I moved back to the "old country" (Switzerland) wher I Married and settled down. The Curdy name is a common one here. Although I corresponded with Ann and members of her congregation it was hard to get information and the funeral home informed me of "cremations". Thankyou for helping me get the memprial data straight. I dearly miss both Uncle Max and Cousin Ann - Sincerely, Brian Edouard Curdy. PS: Please let me know if I can be of further help to you in your research - and thankyou again for your generosity and devotion -Brian

|ljordan||Margaret Jones (Windy Gap)|
Thank you so much for the photo.
I didn't think she had a stone. If and when you go back keep your eye out for other Jones and Lunsfords. When my health and the weather is better I hope to visit the grave. Heat felt thanks
