I live in Brookfield, Mo., but was raised near Linhart Chapel and have ten Ancestors buried in the Linhart cemetery. I have served on the Board of Linhart for the past 26 years and am an Officer. |
The old Bloomington Trail, a covered wagon/wagon trains trail passed near Linhart during the 1800's.

Thank you, Sharon!
The photo is sideways! How about changing the orientation.

I'm not sure I asked for this or not but thanks anyway. I understand you and Elsie have been taking photos.

I am inquiring about Find A Grave Memorial# 10794774 for Esther Johns. My 3rd g-grandfather is Mathew Johns. His wife was Hester Manth. I believe this Esther Johns is the same person as Hester Manth Johns. The death record I have for Mathew Johns says he was buried at Brookfield, MO. He and Hester had a son named Solomon (married Carolyn, had son George), and a son named Mathew Johns, Jr.
Do you know if a Mathew Johns is buried in this cemetery? The birthdate I have for him is 28 March 1828 and death date I have is 5 March 1918. He was born in England and died at Peoria, IL.

Thanks for taking the photo of the grave of Joseph Myers, Company H 120th OVI. I really appreciate your work. I have been researching the 120th soldiers for the past 13 yrs to tell about their lives.
May I use your photo in my research on my site and in the research that I plan to give to some libraries? I always give credit for the photos.
