|Clifton-Burnsed-McEwen-Lastingers are the families I am researching. Burnsed-McEwen families are mainly from the Baker Co. area and Clifton-Lastingers are from the Volusia Co. area.|

|Elizabeth Jones||RE: Lastinger|
Thank you so much for the quick reply. I know it sounded crazy, but really everything I've found about Clifton is about a black community. I got the Lastinger side of my grandma's family figured out. It turns out, that was easy compared to trying to find out about an Oin Hiers, & Mary Ann Hiers, supposedly the names of George Washington Hiers' parents, so if you are good at this stuff, & have ANY leads/ advice for me, yes, I need it. I've gone on family search (the Mormon website) for most of the info I have. Thank you again for your response/ help.
I'm trying to begin researching my family history, & any help with the following would be very much appreciated. 1: Referencing William G. Lastinger, what does "died in Clifton Settlement" indicate? To be frank, could he have been black? I realize that is probably considered jumping the gun, but all I've read about the settlement would indicate that's not too far fetched to assume. 2: How can obtain the records that the memorial mentions using for that knowledge and/ or any other useful records? My grandmother knows nothing of her Great Grandparents (William G. Lastinger, & Mary Ann Tedder Lastinger) except a few, unremarkable childhood memories. 3: What does "other person" mean(on Mary Ann Tedder Lastinger's memorial)? Thank you so very much for your time. Elizabeth Jones

Do you have any objections to my using your photo of Daytona Memorial Park on my ancestry.com family tree, with attribution to you? Thank you for your consideration. Gwen

Wayne, thank you for the transfer of my uncle Ernest H. Harris. Could you possibly also transfer Ernest D. Harris, his son, and Dorothy Barton Harris? Thanks, Jerry Green, Find A Grave id
Thank you for your efforts

I see that under the picture of the cemetery it says do not add photos to this memorial. I went to get requested photos for three people in a particular cemetery and accidently got photos of two wrong head stones. I was going to add the photos to the people but noticed your note saying not to add a photo. Are we not to add them if they had not been requested by someone or is that just a generic thing that is added when you add a person to the cemetery? Thanks...Marsha
