Ed Cook
CDR.Lauren Ray Everett
Just talked with a Navy friend who has reliable information that the body of Cdr. Lauren Everett was not recovered. That makes sense to me, because a year after the crash, we were never told that his body had been recovered.

CDR Lauren Ray Everett
My name is Ed Cook, and I just saw your memorial for Cdr Lauren Everett. I was in the same Navy squadron on board the USS Enterprise the day his plane went down in the Tonkin Gulf. I was not aware that his body was ever recovered. Do you have any more information, or do you know if Lt.Cdr. Paul Stokes body was recovered? I remember we stopped dead in the water for about an hour. Search and rescue efforts turned up nothing, so we had to sail on. It was a dark day for my squadron as well as for the ship. Will you please send me a reply? Thanks for your dedication.

RE: Gen. Ray Robinson
Thanks again and I will revise my note re: Nancy as his wife. You have a wonderful bio for the General, I believe you should submit him to Find a Grave as "Famous". Stephen

Thank you very much.
Larry was most respected within our family. I never got to know him as an adult but those who knew him liked him
