If you want to request a transfer or make corrections or additions to a memorial, use the "Suggest a correction" link on the memorial. I won't be responding to corrections posted as a message below regarding transfers or corrections. If you wish to add information such as birth or places of death, then use the "suggest a correction" link and it will send it to my edits page for review.|
Also, don't feel slighted if I don't acknowledge that I completed your request. I get too many to personally answer each one.
If you wish to link someone to their parents please send me the parents Link# and I will be glad to do it. Use the "Suggest a correction" link not by message.
I do not do wholesale transfer of Memorials. If you are related and I am not, then send a request by the edit option on the memorial and I will review. Consider creating your own Virtual Cemetery that you can add your family to without having to manage the memorial.

You're welcome and have a Happy New Year.

I have added a headstone photo for Kate Sandifer. The headstone has Katie Eadler or Ealler Dau of L. G and Bennie Sandifer B. Dec 7, 1872 D. July 16, 1875. Do you think this is the correct memorial for this headstone photo? Please let me know if I should remove the photo and create a memorial.

I had a little glitch along the way on my trip East. I had just crossed into Mississippi from Louisiana, cell fone rang, emergency back home so I had to turn around.
So close yet so far, HA !!!
Thats the bad news.
The good news is that the trip East has -not- been cancelled, just put off to a later date.
The weather is bad out that way right now and my problem here has been resolved, so if it turns warmer (a big if) next month, I'll give it another shot.
Also, I go to Georgia on the average twice a year and I have all the info in my briefcase.
I will not pass by the Oxford Cemetery without checking it out.

Wow, this is gonna be a findagrave adventure.
200 entries and only 2% photographed. I wonder how it escaped the camera for this long. I realize it's old but still, someone should have recorded it by now.
I looked at the aerial url that you provided.
It appears to be kept up and in real good shape, at least when the foto was taken, HA !!!
As luck would have it, when we go to Georgia to visit friends, one of our overnight stops (camper trailer) is the Mississippi/Alabama rest area. From the map, the cemetery is just down the road, should knock it out before things heat up. The way the weather is cooling off, even better to 'stomp' around a cemetery.
Anyway, my plan is to photograph the whole thing, might as well since this is a one shot event. We will spend a couple of weeks on the road so fotos should be available mid-month.
Hopefully we score the Lancaster clan, the 3 your are looking for +7 more.
Will let ya know how it goes,
Later, James Coston

U have helped me out over the years with my family (transferring entries) and I would like to return the favor, if possible.
I am taking a leisurely trip to Georgia next month out IH-20. I found some requests U have put in over the past few years for Oxford Cemetery in Sumner Co., Alabama. On the map, that town is just off the interstate. I would be happy to swing by there and give your requests some attention "but" I am unable to obtain a location for the cemetery, couldn't even determine if it is actually in the town of Oxford.
I am on 14k dial-up so some of these searches get really tedious.
If U can provide me with a general location, let me know and I try and take care of it.
