I have just recently started researching my family history and now I'm hooked. I love making new discoveries and exploring nearby cemeteries. |
Find A Grave has been extremely helpful in my research and now I want to help others.
Please be very diligent in entering accurate information and avoiding mistakes! Incorrect dates and names are useless! If you find a mistake that I have made, please let me know immediately and I will correct it.
I will be happy to transfer memorials within the Find A Grave guidelines. Use the edit tab to send me a message with your contributor # and your relationship.
I am happy to add info and link family members. Click on the edit button on the memorial and send me the info with the memorial number. I can no longer make changes sent to my personal email. It is too time consuming. All changes must be requested through the Edit tab on the memorial or they will not be made.
Preserving history is important, even if it is only one headstone at a time.

|D. L. Lee||Thanks|
Thank you for the recent transfer and for all of you wonderful work on this site. D. L.
|Jim Allingham||Rudolph edits & links|
Thank you so very much for deleting the erroneous information in Robert Sory Rudolph's memorial and thank you for the many edits and links that I hit you with. Thanks to you, we now have some key folks in my wife's bloodline accurately accounted for and linked with the proper relatives. Of course, none of this could have been done had you not "found" the graves and established the memorials in the first place. For this, we are sincerely grateful. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for adding my Grandmother to Find A Grave. However, I don't know why "Tillie" is in her name. She was never called Tillie.

I noticed you photographed many Cooper markers in Greenwood cemetery. Is this a hobby or are these ancestors of yours? Just wondering as I am a Cooper
|Pamela Thompson||Gravestone Photo Permission|
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Fountain Alford in Elmwood Cemetery (Memorial# 109974168).
I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Tennessee Obituaries, where his obituary will be included when I post the file. You can see a similar collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/ALOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Jessica [or your full name if you prefer]
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!
