My husband and I have three daughters.
Our eldest daughter has given my husband and I three grand babies. We are enjoying every minute that we get to spend with them!
I have been researching mine and my husband's genealogy for over 24 years.
Some family surnames I am researching are;
Ivie, Williams, Boykin, Howard, Sherwood, Ingram (Ingraham), Jayroe, Nickerson, Harris, Ash, Owen(s), Gaston, Hughes, Allen, Watson, Payne, Long, Dyer, O'Neal, Allison, Goss, Goforth, Davenport, Pocahontas descendants, and many others.
I enjoy going to various cemeteries and taking photos of headstones for Find-A-Grave, as well as for family information, and to help others that aren't able to go to these cemeteries themselves and see their family/ancestors headstones.

My Great-Great-Grandfather was Granville Tyne Bruce who is buried in the Allison Family Cemetery. I was wondering if you had any photos of what may be left of the headstone. He was buried in 1874 and I heard somewhere that the cows kicked over the headstones, so I know it's a long shot. Thanks,

Mt Paran Bapt Cleburne co. AL cemetery. You have her down as Murray but her death cert says her spouse is Buford Phillips and 1930 census agrees. Could she be confused wtih another relative or person named Sarah Parker who married the Murr. Thanks for putting up the memoria. I am still loooking for pics of her mother Frances Ellen Barlow.

I believe that you will find him in the cemetery that contains all of the deaths from Normandy Beach. This a fairly large cemetery.
Your going to find that anyone that was killed in action during WWII were all buried in the country they were killed within. Back then it was just to costly to bring the remains home for burial.
I am a Vietnam veteran (received 46 service medals). I served with the USN - 2 yrs Top Gun, 2 yrs Vietnam on the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (2 tours Vietnam 1 tour Korea), 2 years reserves. I am the last in our 250 year direct family line to serve in the military as our family serves goes all the way back to the Rev. War. Two of my cousins went down with the USS Arizona so I lay flowers for them each year with a trip to Honolulu.

Back to my question Uncle told me that my grandfater died in 1947 and I was looking and found the date his grandmoter Thilda Payne Allen,uncle Jimmy said they called her Granny Payne,in 1947. Do you all think M.J.Allen was upset about that??? or was he sick and just died?? I don't know sounds fishy to me. anyway email anytime email@example.com

He has never spoken of his family to any of my bothers or Sisters. Like you i am trying to find information on the Allen family. When i was a child i visited my father half bother Abe Allen.
