I have been doing family research for own family, friends and other people upon request for many years. I am delighted with FInd A Grave and the opportunity to share research data with others in this format. My husband and I are retired educators having both taught in public school, university level and been administrators. My family lines include, Keating, Snider, Whitaker, Heinle, Cobb, Robertson, Gann, Routh, Carter, Dunn, Williams, Taylor. Also have extensive research on my husband, John's, lines, Collie, Jones, Mattox, Moran, Rimer, Snodgrass, Cockrell, Huey. After dragging my husband through cemeteries all over the country for years in my research, he is delighted to have me do it on Find A Grave and is even helping.
The following sums up what this adventure is all about.

The Story Teller
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but instead breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us, "Tell our story". - Unknown

Good morning Blanche. I found Pamela (Permelia, Parmelia, etc.) on Find a Grave and wanted to check your information on her death date. I have her as mother of Albert G. Phillips and living with him in Coryell County, TX. as shown on the 1880 Census. You show her as dying in 1871. Do you have any documentation? I am almost sure that is her on the 1880 census.
Any info is appreciated!

RE: Quaker Graveyard
There is surely a graveyard in Chester for the Friends and that is where those Rouths are probably buried. You might find information in the Chester Meeting records. A headstone was considered a mark of pride or vanity, which is why all were buried with no markers.

A few generations later, we start to find headstones for the Rouths.

RE: Whitaker Family
Morning Blanche !! Hope you are doing well, we are fine here. . Sorry it's been so long time, I get bogged down & have to put it away for awhile. But I'm back at it & I need your help, if you please. I'm working on the John M & Roxie Ann Watford Whitaker Family of which my Grandfather William Thomas Whitaker was one of. My dilemma is: I have in order.....Ellen, J H (Jim Henry ??), Jane Malissa, Wm Thomas, Eliza Ann, Robert Nelson & Mary Elizabeth. My question is concerning a John G or John H (or is that who I believe to be Jim Henry ?? Gee, this gets confusing & I don't have access to a lot of information, basically "Find-A-Grave". I do appreciate any help you can offer. Hope yall are doing well & enjoying life ! Am going to Alabama for a Family Reunion (Whitaker-Henderson) May 25th & want to share this info !!! Thanks Blanche !! Love to you !!!
