I helped co-write state laws to protect our cemeteries here in Texas. |
I've been Honored by the Texas State Senate, Texas State House of Representatives, The Dallas County Historical Commission for my work in preserving and protecting our cemeteries. I served on The State Senate Advisory Committee as well as being an Advisor to a number of cities in my area pertaining to cemeteries within their city limits. I have helped in clean ups and restoring a number of cemeteries. I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever.
I served six years on the Duncanville City Council, two years as mayor pro-tem.
I've been working on family genealogy since 1976. I'm the wife of Wallace Richards.

Many thanks, Judy. Duplicate photo postings happened repeatedly for a LONG period of time. I don't know if it was a problem with my internet provider or Find A Grave. I appreciate your heads-up and have deleted the duplicates. Please let me know if you come across others.

I will remove the photo and add the Howard Martin memorial. Thank you very much for your help. I will be back at Shady Grove, Deberry, this week taking photos. Let me know if I can assist in any way in the Panola County, Texas area.

Thank you so very, very much. I truly appreciate that you answered my request. I don't believe Daniel was ever had a flag placed on his grave. But his memorial now honors his service.
Thank you again.

Hi Judy. If possible, could you apply the Southern Cross of Honor to the memorial for my 2nd Great grandfather, Daniel Abraham Duff, memorial # 33744201? I feel he truly qualifies for it. And I would be honored to have you add it as you did for S O Mcbride, memorial # 30967410.
S O Mcbride was Daniel's brother-in-law.

Thanks for the transfer of Alice. May you be blessed for blessing others!
|Jaime Bowers||Theodosia Ann Sanders Patterson|
Hi Judy, I am Theodosia's gggg grand daughter and I thank you for adding her to the website but I do not believe she is buried here. There is only one grave in the family plot and it belongs to William T. Patterson, who I've added myself to findagrave. There is a old family story of Theodosia being buried at Evergreen Cemetery once and then for some reason, was dug up and her bones retrieved by her daughter, Ethel (who is buried at Evergreen) and that her bones were left in a bucket somewhere at the old family home. I would really like to add honorary memorials at Glenwood for Theodosia and Watson, her husband, to be placed in the family plot at Glenwood next to their son but I am unfamiliar with the name I was given of the person who bought the plot, otherwise I would seek permission to change ownership of the plot to myself.

Thank you for transferring these to me. The family was very happy that I now can add info and pictures whenever they want.

Hi! I did a search for Walter (5862436) and Beulah (5862444) Mcgehee and it didn't come up so I created a page for them. Then someone brought it to my attention that you had a page for them. I am terribly sorry. I will be glad to delete my page.
These 2 people are the grand parents to my friend. She has asked me to make the pages and is trying to get pictures for me to put on them. Would you please turn the pages over to me? Thank you very much.
