Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy has been part of my life since I watched "Roots" in the late 1970s. I try to update as many branches of my family as possible. The internet has definitely made it easier to find "new cousins." The biggest genealogy lesson I've learned - NEVER wait to talk to an elderly relative about the family. Trust me, there isn't always "time."

I have finally come to the point where I need to post this about transfer requests. Because of the absolute rudeness of many people when they have requested that I transfer memorials to them, I will now ONLY transfer memorials following the guidelines set by findagrave; that being, If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and I am not direct family, then I will transfer the memorial. Please let me know your relationship. YOU MUST SEND YOUR REQUEST VIA THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL. [You have to be signed in to findagrave to use the edit tab. Click on 'edit.' Scroll down to "suggest any other correction or addition." Write suggestion/corrections/request in the message box and hit send.] Many people have just given me a name with no cemetery listed! Also, if you are requesting a transfer under these guidelines, you MUST provide your contributor number in the request. I am tired of having to look it up. Sorry for the curtness, but the rudeness of several is ruining it for all. Thank you.

RE: Park Lawn Cemetery
Hello Lois,
I'm not directly related. Percival Garretson is my husband's G-grandfather by Percival's first wife, Martha Holland. I added some photos to her memorial this morning. I think I have some more photos of him as a chld; I'll get to them soon. I also have some Rose China he brought back from China. My children are the only ones in the Percival/Martha marriage left. Are you related?

67763078 Adam Miller
Born 3 July 1776 Lehigh County, Penn. Drummer Captain McCord's Company 135th Regiment, PA Militia. Adam Miller served in the War of 1812 with his son-in-law, Andrew Campbell, and Andrew's brother-in-law, George Fell. Bounty Land file (warrant 23,384-120-55) states "The records of the Bureau show that on March 13th 1855, Mrs. Catherine Miller testified that Adam Miller, her husband, died at West Salem Township, July 19, 1851, and that under date of March 13th 1855, Andrew Campbell and John Loutzenhiser testified that they knew of the death of Adam Miller and were present at his funeral in 1851." Info by Dave Hendrickson, Mercer County Genealogy War of 1812 remembered page. Just thought this was interesting. :)

This may be the wife who you speak of being unknown. My grandfather Adelbert Marcus Grant Sr. was the son of Ella Leida (Hunt) and Samule Ulyses Grant. I didn't know if you had any info on them or not. :)

Brenda Lorigan-Agbley Memorial #67491109
Greetings.

I recently visited the Stevenson Cemetery in Greenville, PA, and took headstone photos. One of these was for Brenda Lorigan-Agbley, which I uploaded. However, in reading the memorial you posted for her, I realized that I had also photographed the headstone of her father, Lester C. Richmond (1947-1974), who was a Vietnam War vet.

His memorial no. is 118757963.

Would you mind linking her to her father's memorial? Thank you ever so much!

Betsy
