Find a Grave has been a great resource for freely sharing information among researchers. I am rather concerned that Ancestry.com will figure out a way to screw it all up like they have with RootsWeb. I would like to think that they learned their lesson from all the negative publicity they received in that earlier takeover, but they are so focused on the Almighty Dollar that it's hard to predict -- their corporate greed overwhelms both their common sense and common decency. If they begin to charge or otherwise restrict access (mandatory registration or tracking cookies) in order to view the photos and data that have been freely donated by millions of volunteers, I know that I will immediately delete any of the items that I still have control over.|
You may freely use any of the grave photos which I have taken for any legal purpose. The other items (personal photos, obits and other documents) may have copyright restrictions of which I am unaware, so use your own best judgement on those.

I was just wondering if you were related to the Isham family. I see you put on Mary Isham Thomson death certificate. I was just curious.

I have a few of the family stone that has a few names, dates, etc. These are my first photos for Find A Grave, so I'm not certain what the proper protocol is. If you would like me to send them to you, I'd be happy to.

Would be happy to send you a copy of the other photos taken near the Schleuder monument. Let me know what e-mail address you would prefer.
|Martin Burrell||Mark family name spelling|
Greetings, hope that your building project turned out OK.
In Pine Grove there are two Mark family burials. Sorry to say that as far as I know the family name is spelled, Mark. Marks Prairie, Clackamas, Oregon is where the family first settled in Oregon. John Mark received 640 acres on the Prairie along with several other members of the family. The land is still very productive.
Not to feel bad. It is a common mistake and one family member wrote a letter complaining about all the people who misspell the name.
Hope you continue to do good hunting in the cemeteries of Oregon.
Best Wishes, Martin Burrell

You're welcome. I can't seem to find Elizabeth. I just put up a photo for the other 3 Pearsons at Canoga. Are they related to Elizabeth?

Thanks for contacting me about Allen and Elma Herrick. I maintain a large extended family tree and only have the information I have found on Ancestry.com Sorry I can't offer more information.

I'm sorry I don't have any information on Legg family, except the list from ancestry.com. You could look for researchers of John Thompson Doughty, Colorado. They know the line better.
Sorry to say Verna was next to Charles. Looked in a fairly wide circle, but was unable to find her. She could be elsewhere in the cemetery.
