Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find a Grave has been a great resource for freely sharing information among researchers. I am rather concerned that Ancestry.com will figure out a way to screw it all up like they have with RootsWeb. I would like to think that they learned their lesson from all the negative publicity they received in that earlier takeover, but they are so focused on the Almighty Dollar that it's hard to predict -- their corporate greed overwhelms both their common sense and common decency. If they begin to charge or otherwise restrict access (mandatory registration or tracking cookies) in order to view the photos and data that have been freely donated by millions of volunteers, I know that I will immediately delete any of the items that I still have control over.

You may freely use any of the grave photos which I have taken for any legal purpose. The other items (personal photos, obits and other documents) may have copyright restrictions of which I am unaware, so use your own best judgement on those.

RE: Lindon McGee grave photo
Grave location is: 1st section to the right of the entrance-20 rows up and 30 stones in. It is near the fence and a large fir tree. Hope that helps.

Bob,
Glad I could help. I will get better photos if the snow ever goes away.

RE: John Kanada Sterling
Hi Bob
I am working with family member sand now the Union Cemetery association to place a headstone for John. As far as other vets, send me what you got, I am the Camp Commander for the local Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. We have camps in every state and I should be able to find a camp to help place headstones. Are Camp has placed over 110 headstones in the last 10 years in Oregon. And there is legislation to remove the requirement for a relative, lets face facts, kinda hard to find a living relative of someone who died a 100 years ago!

RE: Helen Dickerson grave photo
Sorry the picture wasn't better. I usually put better quality pictures but it's been very overcast and foggy. I also hadn't used the camera in a while and it was set on a lower quality. I may try to retake them when the weather gets better.

Thank you for your edit request to link Clyde Steele to his parents William Frank Steele # 40003724 and Nancy Helen (Isenhower) Steel # 140367849. I've been searching for Clyde's parents for many years.

John Kanada Sterling
Hi Bob, I see you where the person who originally created John's memorial. Do you have access or know who does to the cemetery records? Being a veteran, I can get and place a headstone for this gentleman, but we need to confirm his burial location first.
Thanks
Don

PS, oops
Hi,
I forgot to mention something. They also said that he is in their records as Peter as it is on his death certificate; Peter Harris Bristow to be exact. They said they cremated him July 12th, 1941.
