Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Kane County, Illinois, and am willing to take photos of gravesites in Elburn, Kaneville and Sugar Grove areas.

My father's family is from Fulton County, Illinois, but originally from Windham County, Vermont, and Groton, MA. My research focuses on GILSON, LORD, PATCH, HART, COPE, SWOPE, MYERS and BRANSON families.

My mother's family is from the Netherlands.

I appreciate those who list their source when posting my photos to other Web sites, such as Ancestry.com :)

Almah Frisby @ Forest Home Cem., Milw., WI.
Hi Gina, no, I had no proof that Almah and Franklin were married. Therefore, I looked up census forms and you are correct that they were not married, but just related. I went with the "assumption" that they were married because they were on the same stone. I have made the correction to put Almah's last name back to Frisby and also linked her parents to her memorial. Since they are not of my family, if you would like a transfer, please let me know, I'd be happy to do so. Thanks for the info. Regards, Nadeen

Ephriam Gilson
I was doing some genealogy work on my family in Westminster, VT today and had your request from Find-A-Grave for Ephrain Gilson so I thought I would take a look. In the book, "Old Cemeteries of Westminster, Windham County, Vermont" compiled by Rachel Valliere Duffalo in 2010 the following was entered for Ephriam Gilson:

"Gilson, Ephriam, Liut. No other inscription (B.M.C.). No stone 1989 (A.C.C.) Editors note: Because there is no record of Ephrain Gilson, this may refer to Ephraim Spencer, #31."

Not sure this is of much value to you but the (B.M.C) and (A.C.C.) in the reference refer to two people that scoured the cemeteries in Westminster at different times in the past trying to inventory all cemeteries in the area.

I found a few Gilson's in the Old Cemetery but not Ephraim.

They published a new book on the history of Westminster by Jessie Haas and I noticed the Gilson family mentioned but didn't have time to do a thorough search of the book to find Ephraim.
You might want to see if you can find that book or other on the history of Westminster. Might reveal more on Ephraim.
