I started family history researching about 1979 after my grandmother passed away and someone handed me a box of old letters. It has been my hobby ever since (I mean my life's work) - Always enjoyed going to cemeteries to place flowers and find graves of relatives. Most every time I would take photos and now that I found this website I see the reason why I had to do it.|
I am researching Moore, Mabry, Burleson, Speir in Texas; Harper, Seagraves, Cowan, McCarron & Bruce of Illinois, Missouri, Ohio; Haage, Sparman, Schaefer in Missouri. Also, Doeller, Davis, Pulsifer in Illinois & Missouri, Manning family of Maryland, West VA, Missouri; and Henke, Hoorman, Keeven, Bolte of Florissant, MO.

I got the photo of him from NJ's granddaughter and it was marked as NJ Moore. Currently I am in a rehab center recuperating from a stroke in November and had to put everything in storage. There is a copy I believe on my laptop I have with me and can send that to you. Can you send me a copy if the photo you have? Tell me again how you are related to Moore's? NJ and Minerva are my great grandparents. My email is jmmfan1 on Gmail. Laura

I don't know any history for him, I get my information by taking pictures and sometimes someone will send a message to add info to the bio. I assume because the marker says in memory of, it is possible he is not buried here. Maybe no one knows where he is buried?
If you want to contact the caretaker here is an email address: email@example.com
Maybe they can help. I know they are getting the cemetery surveyed because its a historical site, maybe there is more info somewhere?

I appreciate that offer Debra, I contacted the funeral home, where her dad was at, to see who his parents are, Yes he is the son of Alva and Palmyra Thwing, which would be my gg Aunt. so she is related. Thank you for making a memorial for them to honor them. I do not want a transfer. Keep her. Thank you again.
I never requested a transfer
The only idea I have of why Mr Harper is in my care is that there were 2 memorials that Find A Grave merged
I have no control over merging & have lost family members too due to others posting
Please include you number when requesting a transfer

Debra, thanks for adding George to Find A Grave. He is my maternal great grand uncle.
I've searched for him for 5 years, I knew where he & aunt Hettie lived, even have a photo of their brick home, but could not find them on Find A Grave.
This is also a request for his transfer to me.
|Ed Hansell||RE: Second Wife of Jacob Lewis Seagraves|
a person by the name of Melinda Powell left message on my site, but i cant find it, and cant therefore read or download it. i assume it refers to Jacob and/or his family members. does "Melinda Powell" ring any bells for you--maybe she has some info on that family, but i cant open the message.

Dear Debra H.,
Thank you for your message.
Can you please send a better biography on Francis Mabry to the edit option ?
Please send any other sources if possible on his birth, death, burial, etc. Any data on his wife is appreciated as well.
I guess we are about 7th cousins.

|Cemetery Girl||Find A Grave Correction: Jacob Seagraves|
I think I made the changes that you asked me to do. Look at the Bio and let me know if I didn't correct everything.
I am also descended to Jacob Seagraves - so would like to keep the memorial. I hope makes sense. Thanks, Nancy
