Ray & Barbara Brandt - Hastings Twp. Cemetery

You are most welcome for the photos! Glad I was able to fulfill your request.

I apologize for the late acknowledgement, but I was out of town for the last four days.

Best Regards,

RE: Good stones at Prairie Street Cemetery
I am actually in the process of packing so I had not taken them yet. You can delete if you would like. The photos don't look too bad when I viewed them. If you take with a regular camera you have to crop and resize to a really small image.

Good stones at Prairie Street Cemetery
As I looked at your photo requests for Mr. & Mrs. Good, I noticed that you have already added a photo of their stone. Were you wanting a new one or was this an error?

Vreelands in Matteson Cemetery
I recently added my Aunt and Uncle to the Matteson cemetery, Horace Monroe Vreeland and Margaret Pauline Harris Vreeland. I believe his mother and father are also buried in this cemetery. Lynn Charles Vreeland was his father and he was the son of Charles Richard and Ida Gwinn Vreeland, who were added by you. I hope that you can confirm this for me. I am also looking for the wife of Lynn Charles Vreeland, Electa B Laughry, his widow, who remarried to Emil Stoll. I believe all three are buried in Matteson Cemetery.

Monroe and Pauline's two infant sons are also buried there, Byron and Jeffery.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Connie Marshall Byrd

RE: Memorial #59635400
Hi .. Please go to the memorial and click the edit tab and select the first option and a box will appear. Fill in the details and submit it. This is what a SAC is (Suggest a Correction) its much easier for everyone to use this method.

Thank you

Elizaeth Shook & Elias Shook
Hi,I was unable to locate these graves, they are in the original Cemetery and all records for that section were destroyed by fire in 1911.

Many of the stone's in that section are very hard to read,I did find some other Shook's and posted there memorial's.
I am going to try to rub a couple of them and see if I can get anything.

Baby Girl Freeland
Hi- just thought I would let you know I found a death certificate for a Baby Girl Freeland, daughter of Fred and Laura, who was stillborn on May 2, 1910. It said she is buried in Sherwood, so I added her. The certificate was located online.

RE: Photo Thanks
I posted her's as well, they are on the same stone. It is too big of a stone to post, would you like a full picture sent to you? It was very close to the front in the older section.

RE: Thanks for the Thomas L Phillips Photo!
My pleasure - I don't mind hunting for these stones at all! That cemetery is a really easy one as there only about 100 graves there, very tiny. There is one other pic I took, but I've "misplaced" it somewhere in my computer. It is a tiny little stone in between two pine trees, with only initials on it. "T.L.P." Then there is a space, then the little stone for the wife of Ernest Phillips. The space could be big enough for at least one more grave, maybe even two. I'll try to recover the little stone and add it to the memorial.
