Bio Photo *** My Mom passed away on January 23rd. I would be so grateful if you have a moment to visit her memorial and leave flowers. Many thanks. ***

I became interested in recording tombstone information to Findagrave after finding time-worn stones of my dad's ancestors in a remote little cemetery.

I love when we can link family members or add personal information and welcome additional information or corrections for any memorials that I have recorded. When you send update requests Per Find a Grave Policy, please do not include the names of the living UNLESS YOU HAVE THEIR PERMISSION TO DO SO. Thanks for understanding.

Please use the EDIT button on the top right of the memorial page when you want to send a correction since it provides me with the links I need. Please verify and double check your info for accuracy.

Because I receive so many emails, I may not have time to reply back, but the entries will be made.

FINDAGRAVE MEMORIAL TRANSFERS:
Explain your relationship in the request! You need to make the request for transfer via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial.

Findagrave policy states that transfer requests should be limited to DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS. This would be YOUR:
- Siblings
- Parents
- Grandparents
- Great-Grandparents
- Children
- Grandchildren
- Great-Grandchildren

Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) will not be transferred
, please don't ask.

Thanks,
FDP

RE: Additional Info
Fay, thank you for your quick response. I didn't intend to insinuate that you had made a mistake, I'm just confused that they can't find his info, and was looking for any additional info that might help - which you have so graciously provided. Thank you again, .....Bill

Additional Info
Fay, I have a question about one of the entries you made:

Burial:
Culpeper National Cemetery
Culpeper
Culpeper County
Virginia, USA
Plot: Section G

Created by: FDP
Record added: Aug 19, 2011
Find A Grave Memorial# 75139936

I contacted the National Cemetery Culpeper and they can't find any info on my Uncle (above). I included the photos of the Sign at the entrance and the plots (they said the plot didn't look familiar). By any chance do you keep additional details when you document a grave marker: i.e. Grave number, etc.? Is it possible that it was actually taken at a different cemetery (I'm not questioning your work, but there's always a chance that when the info was entered, it was transposed with another site)? Thank you for all of your efforts when you do this, and any help that you can provide on this specific request. Bill

Would you be so kind as to transfer this lady to me. She is my sister-in-law and I would like to manage her site and connect her to her family.

Thank You.

Thank you, Fay!
I'll check their website. My daughter-in-law, Jenny Rector, and I, composed my father's obituary, and it was proofread by my mother, and all other family members present, in her living room that same evening; it was published correctly in the newspapers in Fauquier, Prince William, and Culpeper Counties, so if an error was made, it was made in transcription to other sites. Thank you for prompting me to check the funeral home's website. Being a genealogist, for our family, I just hate to see public records like that being published incorrectly. THANKS AGAIN, Fay! ~Donna Lynn
