Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, my husband (Steve Patterson) and I are interested in our genealogy histories and enjoy the "detective process" of finding our ancestors. After unexpectedly finding images of my great-grandparents' tombstones on the web, I was thrilled - I'd never seen their tombstones before. This helped us to realize that documenting cemeteries on the web is a wonderful way to help other genealogists find their relatives. We enjoy this tremendously and have started planning our vacations around which cemeteries we want to visit.

I am leaning on the tombstone of Alpheus Osborn, my great-great-great grandfather who lived in Fairfax, Iowa.

If you are a close relation to any people that we have listed and would like us to transfer the memorial to you, please let us know. Be sure to include the CEMETERY NAME where they are located and your FAG MEMBERSHIP NUMBER!

Wallace coombs
Hi Kathy,
I see where you added a memorial for Wallace Coombs, birth dates and death dates unk in Miltonbvale KS cemetery. Where did you find out about him? I wonder because my great grandmother was married to a Wallace Coombs but we were always told he died in Oklahoma. However she had ties to Ottawa County KS. Thanks Donna

I noticed you created the memorials for John and Elsie Scott. Are you related?

Cathy: You made a memorial for this lady on 5-18-2009. She did not pass away until 8-22-2012. I established a memorial for her on 9-12-2012 and put her obit on that memorial. Since yours was established before she passed away you need to delete yours. Please transfer the photo you took of the headstone to my memorial #96968088.

Thank you, Shirley

Memorial # 44021026
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for creating a memorial for my 3rd cousin, Ivan A. Holler. I would like permission to use the tombstone photo you placed on his memorial in family tree. I would give you credit for the photo. Thank you for your consideration of my request.

RE: John McDowell #27240414
Thank you, Cathy. I was hoping that you would know more because you created the memorial. I appreciate your quick response. I will keep digging :)

John McDowell #27240414
Hi Cathy,
I am hoping that you can help me work out a kink in my research. I believe that John McDowell #27240414 id my 3rd great uncle, and I am trying to locate his father's burial. John's mother shows up as a widow by the 1900 census, and I suspect that John and his father (also named John) may have died at about the same time. Do you know anything more about this burial or if there are connected burials in the area? Is there a place with records on these burials?

Thank you,
