Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love family reseach, have for the last 10 years or so. My mom started with most and I'm continuing from where she left off.

Family names of Coleman, Eddleman, Stanton, Sisson, Carroll, McCraw, & others.

I currently live in Abilene, Texas.

There's memorials that I have listed when I go to graves to get photo requests, I also get ones that don't have grave photos or not listed. I will transfer their memorial to you, if you want, as long as their not related to me.

I have a dog that goes ghouling (what my husband calls it) with me. I try very hard not to get him in the pic but every once in a while I do. If there is a pic with a part of him and if you don't like it please let me know and I will retake the pic. I try to edit him out and sometimes some part of him is still showing. Sorry, but he is my buddy that goes everywhere I go.

You may of course, use the photos I take. Just please add my name to credit my work.

Thanks for letting me know of the mistake in the marriage date. I think I have corrected it.

I forgot to mention that this was of one of the draws to the Carolina Colony because, they had a little more Religious and Tax Freedom from the Church of England, with less or no British soldiers for enforcements. Those allowed to practice other religions were still supposed to pay their taxes to the Church of England though.

You list her death as occurring Nov. 6, 1724 in Granville, N. Carolina (I have Pendleton family from that era and place) but you list her burial in Caroline, K and Q Co., VA. I know you indicated that you were having a hard time finding the Baptist Cemetery of her marker. The First Baptist Church was in Shiloh, NC (not too far from Lower Norfolk and Princess Anne Counties, VA.) Today Shiloh is in Camden Co. N. Carolina. The church was created way before the Rev. War by a, William "Burges" (Burgess is sp many ways and is my husband's family). I'm related to PENDLETON'S in Camden, NC and Pasquotank, NC. The earliest record I have found for them in Pasquotank, NC is dated 1694 but, I know they owned the land prior to 1694 because John Pendleton's land was only listed as a reference point for someone else's deed in 1694 under Lord Perpriortship. (I have more info for that deed if interested.) I believe our Henry Pendleton born 1660 who died in Pasquotank, NC is of the same Henry Pendleton of Eng. as is the Virginia Pendleton branch. "PHILIP PENDLETON'S HALF SIBLINGS" Philips second and final trip to VA from Eng. was abt. 1674...anyway...it's just a thought. :)

I was able to find both Ralph and Abigail Coffin's graves on top of the hill in Boxwood Cemetery. They were both very difficult to read. I posted a picture for your request of Ralph Coffin but Abigail's stone was broken in half and I didn't get a very good picture. If you would like me to email it to you I can but I didn't want to upload it to the site in case someone could get a better picture than I did.

Charles Gaw
Culpeper National Cemetery has no record of his burial. Are you sure of the spelling of the last name and the dates of birth and death? They also looked at the national registry and found 1 Charles Gaw buried at Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery and 1 Charles K Gaw buried at Ft Logan National Cemetery. Dates of birth and death are different, however.
