My main interest is to locate, record and photograph gravestones of my lineage as well as historical graves and comb graves. I also locate document and photograph prehistoric burial sites, when possible. |
Non-evasive Gravestone Conservation Photography is practiced during my visits so as to not discolor or damage the stone. Please do not ask that any type chemical product, flour, shaving cream, etc be placed on the stones for photos.
Please do specify your relationship when requesting transfers. Transfer requests should be for your direct relatives. If, by chance, the request concerns my direct relative it is very unlikely I will make the transfer.
I am a human being, if you think I have made a transcription mistake, please do let me know, in a nice humanly way. I respond very well to nice. :D
As time permits, I also try to photograph grave markers for others, so just place a request in the cemetery and when I check-in on Find A Grave I will try to help you out. (c) ASK PERMISSION TO USE MY PHOTOS.
Wish List: Restroom Facilities in Tourist Cemeteries.

There is another memorial for HWC in the Panguitch City Cemetery. His headstone was removed from his burial place (your memorial) and taken to Panguitch. Someone created a memorial there and I have inherited it (#20642482). Rather than delete the memorial, since I didn't create it, I changed the biography to note that he is not buried in Pang., but is buried in Tennessee and have your memorial number 6162110 there. There is a long biography on the Panguitch memorial. It would be more appropriate on his real burial memorial. Would you like to copy it and put it on your memorial. It would create less confusion. Thanks.

|Hamilton Smith||Jimmie Prosser, #94474640|
Little Jimmie who was born to James Prosser and Wilma Jean (Angus) English Prosser, my aunt and uncle, was my 1st cousin who died in 1948 when my granddaddy couldn't stop the mule that was dragging him while his foot was stuck in a stirrup.
He was their 1st born and everyone loved little Jimmie. My aunt Mary (Angus) English Ferrell got him a headstone many years after he died. James died in a fire shortly after that.
If you could transfer him to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please remove the tombstone photo you posted on Bertha Twomey Cummins' memorial. I have one posted on it and prefer it since it doesn't have the memorial flowers on it. There is no need for two. Thank you. Also could you delete your duplicate memorial for Albert Starnes Cummins. Thank you.
|Robert Van Alstine ||Tomb Stone of Ebenezer Dorr IV|
My name is Bob Van Alstine. I am authoring a book entitled The Dorr Family in the Shaping of America. I would like to use the photo of Ebenezer Dorr IV's tomb stone you have posted on Find A Grave in my book. I would like to obtain your permission to do this.
I look forward to hearing from you in this regard.

Your biography mentioned that you do post many of your family gravesites and I just wanted to check if perhaps Albert Stuteville # 113510733 might possibly be part of your family lines. Without additional information, I cannot be certain as to this identification, but I believe this was a man from Spencer County, IN, who was born 9 Feb 1943. If this might possibly be part of your family lines, I would be delighted to share some additional information, if you might have any additional interest. I believe the infant Stuteville # 113510818 was most likely his child by Harriet "Hattie" E. Armstrong - they were married 8 Oct 1864 in Coffee County, TN.

Can you please tell me if this person is buried in Rose Hill or Rosemount? If I have it wrong, I want to delete the memorial I did. Thanks. Cheryl Mullens Martin
