Pictures added to D. Ellis Walker
You may want to check out the pictures and captions I added to D. Ellis Walker's page. Please add the location of his grave if you know it. I only heard him speak twice (Centerville, TN and Getwell church of Christ in Memphis, TN) and I only got to speak to him once (at Getwell) but he made a strong impression on me. Thank you for putting him on findagrave.--sheila mcdade

Alonzo G. Hobbs
Sorry I omitted the name of the cemetery. It is Mt. Olivet in Tarrant County, Texas.

Alonzo G. Hobbs
I see that Alonzo G. Hobbs has been linked to a spouse, L.P. Hobbs #10962017 - dates unknown. However, in his obituary it states that he married a Luceil Peterson. There is a memorial for Luceil L. Hobbs #105359868. Is this his wife? I am researching a Lettie P. O'Neal Hobbs and found some info that she is buried in this cemetery. I think the L.P. Hobbs is her, but she is not Alonzo's wife.

J.W. Brice
I see that you posted a picture of J.W. Brice on find a grave. Do you have any more information or pictures of him or his family? I have been trying to research his father and mother (Isabella) but run into a brick wall. Any information you have will be helpful. Thank you, Barbara Pargament

Viola, Victor & Clara Tomson.Thompson
Tom, Thanks for making the changes I suggested to these memorials. Maybe, together, we can collect the info on this family. Clara's name changes might lead us on a merry chase though.

Could you please tell me how to formally request the transfer of this memorial. I would like to manage it and link it to other family here and our Ancestry page. Thank you.

I was delighted to discover the photo and memorial of my great-x3-grandfather on this site. Thank you for posting it. I seem to recall hearing there was a statue of him at Oxford. Perhaps it is just this memorial that was referenced? I did not have a chance to seek it out during my last visit to Georgia.

There are family records and oral histories (some unconfirmed)that I am willing to share if anyone is interested. Am also interested in collecting any additional information and documents that may be out there.

Isaac Newton Jones/Wife
Tom,
Please disregard my last two messages. I have sent you someone else's info. Sorry, it's late and I'm answering a LOT of notes. Your message should read:

Isaac Newton Jones, Buried in the Davis Cemetery, located about 2 miles South of Bethleham Church. I added about 11 folks and created the cemetery. I did not know if you had a memorial for Mary Ann, wife of Isaac. She is buried there too. If you don't would you like for me to add her? If you do, please show her buried there. Her dates just in case: b. 09 Nov 1827; d. 07 Aug 1909.

They are all listed in the Bedford County Cemetery Records Book on pages 192-193. There are several "Davis Cemeteries" in this area.
