Genealogy became a source of interest & passion in 1971 when my uncle presented me with a "book" of family group sheets. I have been in the process of filling in the blanks ever since. A wonderful trip to NY & CT in 2006 allowed me to visit the graves of many ancestors & inspired me to take a more active roll in my research.
Luis Phillip Harper is my great grandfather, DOB 6/21/1094, DAD 1/8/1944. My ancestry information shows he died in Mendocino, CA. I found the Find A Grave picture you posted of the Russian River Cemetetary in Ukiah and requested a picture of the actual gravestone. As you can see, the newly added pictures show he must have been cremated with several others who were patients of the Mendocino State Hospital/Asylum, based on the memorial plaque. I was wondering if you would tell me how you found the actual DOD of 1/8/1944? When I try to research him on ancestry.com, nothing comes up for me. I would very much appreciate any information you are able to provide as I have nothing but his name and date/place of birth/death.
George Farrar edits Thank you for your suggested edits. I am working very hard with this group right now. If you have any further suggestions, I am deeply appreciative of any and all help. Your kindness is truly appreciated. If you are a mom, Happy Mother's Day to You.
Joseh (Giuseppe) Gubetta Hello I write from a small town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. I ask you kindly help. You 'can get photos of the grave of an uncle of my grandfather? Unfortunately I do not speak English and the translator does not translate well, for me it is difficult to use this site. His name is Joseph (Giuseppe) Gubetta born 21 Aug. 1891 died August 20, 1965 Ukiah Mendoncino. Thanks Ettore
