I have been researching cemeteries in Chesterfield county, VA for the past 22 years. My purpose is to honor all who have gone before. With that thought in mind, all are welcome to use my headstone photos. I ask only that they be used with respect.|
Please take a moment to stop by my mom, Lori's , memorial and leave a flower. I was so blessed to have her for 8 years.
Note: Please, please, please use the Edit feature located in the upper right corner of memorials to ask for corrections, etc. I try my best to fulfill these asap. Thanks!

|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Hi Rachel, you are very welcome!
|Sharon Palm||Daniel Allen|
My name is Sharon Palm. I am descended from Daniel Allen through Henry who married Anna Hill and then through their daughter Emma married to Franklin Holtom. Can you tell me more about Daniel, how are you related, are you my cousin, where did you find your information? Sorry for all the questions but I have been trying to make the connection between Henry and Increase for some time without finding the information on Daniel.

You are very welcome!
Thanks for the correction

I'm glad you checked back! What a coincidence that I had just added it from a group of photos I took months ago!

Please connect "Nettie" Phenetta Gillam Hudson with her parents: father Tom Price Hudson 22917137 and mother Nolian Jackson Harris 22917182. Nettie is #3 of 15 children. Thank you for helping me keep them 'together'
|Rebecca Gilmore Phillips||Haley Cole Sr. and Jr.|
I wondered if you know of a possible grave site for either of these Haley Coles.
They lived in and around Chesterfield County. I'll list their wives too in case that helps.
Haley Cole (1770-1833) m. Sallie Morrisett 4/2/1795
Haley Cole (1805-1888) m Janette Baird (Scotland) 12/18/1839
How are the Chesterfield County Historical Society bldg. renovations coming? I'd like to come up when it is ready for members!

Thank you for the note; it is always my pleasure to fill photo requests. I am just so sorry Harriett's stone was not visible today. We just had a massive snow melt followed by a freeze; I saw another sunken area about the size of the other flat gravestone, but it was totally iced over; I will keep an eye on that when we thaw out around here. It would not be the first time I cleared an overgrown grave ;-)
Is the name Chauncey? If so, I will correct that on the note I left with the photos; you can also petition the page creator to have that corrected.
