Bio Photo Hi!
My name is Jerri, and I live in Thurston Co., Washington. Genealogy has been my hobby for almost 40 years. I discovered Find A Grave during a recent project for the DAR, and what a great way to help other genealogists and researchers! This is a perfect opportunity for anyone to document those deteriorating tombstones in their area, as well as helping others who live too far away to do it themselves!

The project I helped with was tasked with locating and documenting the burial place of 767 very special DAR members, who were actually daughters of Revolutionary War Patriots. We found almost all of them, and they are grouped in virtual cemeteries by the state in which they were buried.

Jerri-

Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting the transfer at all. I was thinking the same thing, only you expressed it way more eloquently in words than I had it in my head!

Thank you again!

Best Regards-
Susan

John M Cutliff and Mary S Jones
Hi,
I noticed that you have Mary as the spouse of John A Cutliff and I think she was married to his brother John M Cutliff. I have a copy of a marriage record for Mary S Jones and John M Cutliff that I found on Ancestry. Thank you for this memorial though it's the first record I found that John Cutliff and Lucinda Ragan had more children than Mary Ann and John M. It's a good clue for me even if I haven't been able to verify it.
Thank you,
Viki Cutliff

Field Family
Hello my name is Nancy Bushong #47574882. I'm doing research for my daughter-in-law. I noticed you maintain a memorial for Richard Lorenzo Field. There is a lengthy list of his children. Could you please tell me where you got this list, example census records?
Thanks.

Townsend Cemetery
The Moses Townsend Cemetery, Crown Point, Essex Co, NY is located on the North Side of the Sam Curran Road, approx. 3/4 of a mile from the intersection with County Route 7. It is on private property, so visitors should be courteous & ask permission at the adjacent house.

Real Daughter's graves
Hi Genibug,

I am working on a new website for Nebraska State DAR. On the website, I am adding a page for each of the real daughters buried in our region of the country (mostly Nebraska). I was wondering if I could use some of your photos for the website and give you credit by adding Photo by Genibug (or another name if you wish).

Great of you do take on the Real Daughters project!!!

Best regards,

Shari Frey

Lydia Rollins Wixson in Augusta, Maine

Hello Jeri,

I just added some photos for DAR "Real Daughter" Lydia Rollins, wife of James Wixson, buried in Augusta, Maine. She is listed as being in Bien Venue Cemetery... but I think it might be just south of the avenue that separates it from Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

You might want to re-arrange the sort order of the photos.

I also added the death record and a "virtual" DAR "Real Daughter" plaque for Nancy (Allen)(Simmons) Warren. (I based it on her sister Hannah's plaque) I still haven't found her gravestone in Canton, Maine. She is likely buried with her first husband, Calvin Simmons and perhaps also her brother, Lorenzo Dow Allen. If we can find one of them, we will probably find them all.

I have been finding a lot of War of 1812 soldiers now that we have that Bicentennial coming up. I have made a few "virtual cemeteries' to try to keep track of them.

Sincerely, Tim Cooper
Sidney, Maine 04330
