Bio and Links
Bio Photo I find copying headstones interesting, I like finding interesting people with interesting story's. Most my family buried in the greater Philadelphia area but I live in the Harrisburg area so I'll copy headstones here. Worked inside most my life and wanted to be outside after I retired so copied headstones and published them in the Quarterly once issued by the Capital Area Genealogical Society.

Please use 'edit' tab on memorial page for corrections and or additional information.
I now strictly adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. No exceptions. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Please don't justify an out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information. Am perfectly capable of doing this, especially now with the new EDIT system - much quicker than transferring. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision.

Re: Edward McCowan
I'm not positive but parental names probably were taken from the death certificate. It's not a line I'm researching.

GLANT at East Harrisburg Cem
Hi Robert, Thanks to your cemetery interest, you have provided information and a pic as to where my g.grandfather actually is buried at East Harrisburg Cemetery.
I so appreciate your generosity and time. I too help others with "finds" in my local area.

I need to make some corrections.
And incorporate additional information.

James H (not M) Harrison Glant
b. 7 Feb 1850 Mifflin County, PA
d. 19 Mar 1924 Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA

Jennie M (not H) Mary Bixler
b. 16 Jul 1852 Loysville, Perry County, PA
d. 15 June 1914 Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA

the stone has a James W Glant - WALTER (1887-1896)
didn't have any record of this child, interesting!!!

Jennie's brother -
Clyde H (Herbert) Bixler
b. 1874 in Altoona, Blair County, PA
d. 1910
interestingly, I have Jan. 1909, so I'm going to recheck ancestry files.

I can try to edit , just want you to know "why" ..
Take care... and again, thank you... Donna GLANT Terrian

I found some additional info on Harriet on (her death certificate).I sent it thru the SAC.
I found this while looking for another Harriet Drayer who is buried in the Mount Zion Evangelical Methodist Cemetery in New Kingstown. Trying to find her dates and link to family members.
Have a great day!

George Ream Memorial

Thanks much for the edits to George Ream's memorial. One thing I've come to learn since the edits I sent you is that his middle name is "Emprose". I have put in an auto edit to change this.

Good working with you.
