~ The unfolding history revealed during research of families is so interesting, fascinating, but sometimes tragically sad, causing one to wish they had studied history more astutely and to have listened to stories told by our elders when young ~|
I'm most interested in helping Nancy Brewer in her effort on Find A Grave to recognize the pioneers and builders of my home town of Carthage, Missouri.
SPECIAL NOTATION: Find A Grave has transferred hundreds of memorials to me in Oswego cemetery, Oswego, Labette county, Kansas, of which the vast majority are yours if you so request via "EDIT"! ~ ~ NOTE ~ ~ Find A Grave elected (?) to REMOVE thousands of original contributors photos and rename Mary, "Anonymous" affecting mostly southern Kansas & Missouri areas, so as of late April 2013, these memorials are without her photos and name, but most, still available for transfer by myself and others! Contributor Margaret is dedicated to re-photograph this cemetery, as her time permits and furnish local historical group copies for their records.
In another case, but a different contributor in Arkansas, some 60,000 to 80,000 memorials have been DELETED from Find A Grave, WITHOUT requested explanation from FAG!
~ Visit my Websites. ~
NOTE: Several contributors have allowed me to update their memorials by transferring to me then upon completion I return them, ~ ~ if they so desire.
Would also enjoy your comments, corrections, and would dearly love to be given all of my relatives and dearest friends of whom I've deeply researched on Find A Grave which are created by others.
I am a retired civil engineer (raised in Carthage, Missouri(ah) till 1944), with at least three known 3rd g,grandfathers veterans of Revolutionary War, one 2nd g,grandfather (served two years) & two g,grandfathers veterans of the Civil War with father a veteran of WW I, my brother & myself, veterans of WW II, ~ ~ who well over ten years ago was given a WebTv and have since enjoyed setting in my easy chair in Naples, (until November 2006 with moved 35 miles north to Shell Point Village near Sanibel Island, Lee county, Florida), doing genealogy on it till it went out of business 30 SEP 2013, when my 79 websites were transferred by Pris Weathers to host site WordPress.com, so now I'm using a computer.
On 25th May 2010, became oldest in my paternal Boggess line, for thirteen generations, to at least the 16th century, when becoming older than our veteran of the Revolutionary War, Samuel Boggess (1742-1825), with only my maternal great,grandfather, John A Flora, having lived around three years longer as of this writing.
Family lines of most interest to me:
FLORA, Hagee, Shults/z, Wallick.
BOGGESS, Knight, Luke, Robinson, Wood.
Also included among my "Memorials" are all, including 9 blood related, with only 15 listed by others, within this 1964 abandoned Methodist church one acre cemetery we restored in 2004, ie: Point Pleasant
Well in excess of a hundred blood and/or shirt-tail relatives, including a 17-1/2 y/o Burmese cat, have been transferred for my management (one, deleted because she is living) and have transferred hundreds to others. Several others, mostly by mega-number holders are with incorrect information, will NOT correct or stubbornly withheld from me, and refuse to add family links and/or bios. I would like very much to gain management of all my family's Memorials plus those of special interest, on Find A Grave and I'm most ready to share with others.
Several memorials with inactive contributors, have been transferred to me which now have biographies and family links added, helping other researchers. PLEASE NOTE: Should a link NOT open, simply change "org" within link to "net"!
Many cohorts throughout the states have helped me by sharing family information, pictures, etc for my many booklets which were freely distributed to libraries, universities, historical groups, family members, etc and now my many web-sites with documented information of those researched that are related, some by only a thread.
Much of my research is also filed in some twenty or more states with USGenWeb archives, (should the link NOT open, change "org" within link to "net") and some on Pris Weathers wonderfull website and also found on my Amarillo (formerly of Graham), Texas friend's Worldconnect tree, some of which I have used for Find A Grave memorials, search his index for name: Daryl
William (Bill) Samuel Boggess
Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri till 1944

Hi, Bill. Will you check his birth information? Your message on his Find A Grave site 29568351 says Hudson WI (which is what I posted) but his father's bio (which you posted) says he was born elsewhere. I'll put down whatever you think is right. Thanks, RL in Lake Forest, IL
Also check: Charles as his middle name. Could it have been Cannon (mother's name)?
|Midge Frazel||RE: Trip to North Cemetery|
I am working on the photos to be sure they can be read while I wait to find out if Nellie is buried elsewhere.
|Midge Frazel||Trip to North Cemetery|
My husband drove me to North Cemetery in Wayland. It was very cold today but I did look around a lot. I did not find the gravestone you requested. Since she died in 1914, I was not surprised to find that she is NOT buried with her second husband.
Since there is a person that you know that lives near there, I will post the map of the cemetery and if she could tell me about where Nellie's gravestone is located. There are "roads" in the cemetery so we can drive and get out and take that one gravestone.

I haven't notified Wallace WInter's contributor, mostly because I didn't notice there was one… So I'd be happy if you'd pass on the information. - Dennis

Thanks for updating the info. I resent infor for Beulah Rundell and also corrected my link for Lloyd's mother.
I have gladly transferred Hiram & Pluma Stickney to you.
I am so pleased to see family trees made from my donations. It's all about connecting families - not numbers!
|Midge Frazel||RE: Ellen Braman (1837-1914)|
I am not too far away from this cemetery so I will put it on my list to look for there. Cemetery "season" is over here but judging from the photo I think I can find it.
I did take a photo of a headstone with the name Hodijah but it was just because I had never seen the name before. It might be right near that.

Hello Bill, Would you please transfer Joshua Bradford #46295610, and his wife Hannah Bradford #46296342 to me? They are my ancestors and you have much incorrect information on their memorials. Most importantly, your information that indicates their descendants are the result of an incestuous relationship is incorrect, but I have additional information to add. J.L. (#47713575)
