Forest Lawn Cemetery Beaumont TX-in progress|
I am taking this cemetery a section at a time unless you have exact garden/plot information then I will go and take individual headstone pictures as well.
Magnolia Cemetery Beaumont TX- all of section X
Istre Cemetery Mermentau La- in progress (many unmarked or faded headstones)
Tips for a good day for taking and recording info bring:
mosquito spray, stiff whisk broom some areas stay saturated with rain water and are close to the bayou so the mosquitoes can be quite fierce and sand and mud tend to rest on the headstones and need to be cleaned to get a good picture.
I strive to get edits, transfers and updated information completed in a reasonable timely manner.

LOL! I saw your post on Charles Coody's page. I don't mean to laugh at your aggravation, he is a very impatient man. He did the same thing to me and I chewed his butt out. He somehow figured out how to delete my message to him on his page.
I work on my tree and find a grave 5 sometimes 6 days a week, 50 weeks out of the year. He just happened to try to contact me the one week I was out of town. I thought I taught him a little patients with my message to him. I told him to give people a chance to answer. I guess he is hard headed.
He wrote me twice a day for a week. Through find a grave, ancestry.com and my e-mail. I told him he needed to read the find a grave guidelines. He even somehow found my phone number some months back and called me on a Saturday morning. I don't know how he got my number, I haven't posted it and it is not in the book, the phone is in my husbands name.
I just had to share this with you. Good luck working with him. lol
Have a blessed day and happy hunting.

Sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase. I did not realize Martindale Cemetery was on private property. Lesson learned! Thanks for you effort!

|ML||Albert Johnson grave?|
I just fulfilled your request for Lessen LeBlanc and Olivia Johnson's grave. I did have a quick question regarding your line though:
When I was at Quebodeaux Cemetery, I went ahead and photographed all the graves while there because they're so badly degrading. (About 1/2-2/3 of the cemetery is now either unmarked or the headstones so badly eroded away that they're illegible.)
While looking through my pics to fulfill your request I ran across an Albert Johnson. It's a bit hard to read since it's so covered in lichen, but I think it says he passed on July 13, 1880. He's buried close to Olivia Johnson and Lessen LeBlanc's grave, and the marble is similar.
If this Johnson is from your line, let me know. I'd gladly add the pic to a page if one existed, but I'm really new to contributing to Find A Grave, I don't really know how to set up pages or transfer them to their relative's keeping.
Thanks so much! :)

Thanks so much for transferring Mason & Louise Richmond's memorials to me. I appreciate your setting up the memorials and taking the photos too. I'll take good care of them! Linda
