I am retired from a school system having worked in maintenance doing mostly carpenter work altho I did lots of other things. The best part was watching the little ones and the love that some wanted that wasn't received at home. That makes you thankful for a home life that has love in it and I had the best.|
Thanks for my parents and the love they gave me. Both are gone now and are missed daily.
Any photos that I take will be transfered to family members and close friends for the asking.
I live in Texas in the Texoma area and have for 70 + years, and enjoy taking photos. I have a lot of my mom and dad that could never be replaced. Try to take lots of photos of all, but lean toward the older people, they won't be here for ever.
Have a very Blessed Day because it is the one the Lord made.
It seems that there are some that are unhappy with the way I add a memorial so I will not add them at this time. I hope that these that complain never make any mistakes, there will be some obits that will never get posted. Thanks to all that have helped with the postings that have been made.
I have been ask lately for transfer of memorials, if you are not related to the person please don't ask for a transfer. It takes time to do this just to have someone want have it transfered.

|JMM||RE: Larkins photos -- West Hill Cemetery|
It is possible that some stones were moved. (There are actually supposed to be 2 Larkins infants buried in that area, Harvey Lee in 1931, listed as Inf of P.H. Larkins, & another infant in 1956.)
All I can do is post whatever info is available onto his memorial page. Thank you for adding the photo.

Thank you very much for taking the stone photos & posting them on the memorial pages of Perry Harvey Larkins & his brother Lester Lee Larkins... and for trying to locate a stone for Harvey Lee Larkins (infant son of Perry Harvey Larkins).

I appreciate that you do, and I do as well. I never hold to the 4 generation rule. I consider family as family no matter how distant the connection. There are many that are equally kind and generous, but it seems to me in my experience, that more lean the other way, so I rarely ask anymore. Having worked on the site for a number of years, I understand the work involved in posting memorials, even entire cemeteries, and more importantly getting the photos up while they are still readable. My area is less populated so there are many small old cemeteries with stones so weathered as to be in danger of being to future generations.
Your work is appreciated.

Thank you for searching for the memorial marker for Cynthia West; I have marked her Find A Grave memorial as "No Stone".

His mother is buried there. Memorial #79558506 and on her memorial it says that her husband was Robert Charles Polk. He was deceased prior to his son LCpl Robert Louis Polk being killed in Vietnam.
Robert L Polk was born in Sherman. I don't know where else he could be buried at.
Those other Polks might be related to him I don't know. I only know about him and his parents.

I am sorry you were offended, but if those who add from death notices in the newspaper or funeral home, have the memorials up before the family has a chance to do so, those of us who like to post our family who are cousins have no other recourse, because numerous of these folks will not transfer. In the early years working the site, we always posted memorials from the stones as we photographed a cemetery. If the stone was there, it was ok to post it. After a while it was decided to refrain from doing so and those of us who still photograph cemeteries no longer post a memorial for those still living.
When my grandson died someone had him on findagrave before we had even completed the arrangements. So you might consider that there could be fault on the other side of the issue, too, and not just blame the folks who care very much about the management of our family members.
