I have been working on my family genealogy for about 27 years and enjoy helping others in the process. What a great website we have here to be able to help others with their research and bringing so many families together in the process.|
Please stop and visit with my sister.

Under the "EDIT" key: You can Suggest a correction or provide additional information for any entry that I have made. Please send over the Parents and Spouse links on this also. You can also ask for a transfer under the EDIT key, then I have your ID # and can easily do the transfer for you.
I would be happy to transfer ownership of a record that I have added, if they are family and have more information that they would like to add.
Thank you for all the flowers and notes that have been added to the memorials that I have posted.

I made the correction you sent, but I'm wondering if it could be Denney instead of Denny.
1900 Census shows a Sarah Denney in Tuscola
father: Markes Denney
mother: Sarah Denney
other: Sherman Denney

|Clinch 4th GA CAV||Cedar Keys Entrance photo|
I see you did the photo @ entrance of the cemetery, we recently heard a history presentation that the CURRENT Cedar Keys in Florida was demolished Oct 30, 1896 by hurrycane and what was left moved inland and rebuilt as same community. In the presentation we were told that there was and still is a marked cemetery in the ORIGINAL location with MARKED graves.
Questions & Request
a) Were you aware of the above?
b) Have you been to or have cemetery survey of the original 1st Cedar Key cemetery?
c) Is the cemetery you took the photo at the 1st or ORIGINAL CK cemetery?? or current one??
IF the photo you took is of the LATTER one you may want to add that and that there is ANOTHER on the original location, there may be those attempting to locate ancestors @ same named cemetery but are NOT aware of the original one. Thanks

Thank you for the transfer. It is much appreciated.
I will use this avenue of communication from now on.
Most people have their messages turned off that it s why I used the edit function.
Again, thanks for your help.

I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published.

Cheryl, I maintain a website dedicated to the 16th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War regiment in which Abraham Christopher served. My site is 100% non-commercial and for the research and enjoyment of those interested in the Civil War. I am asking your permission to show your gravesite photo for Abraham on my website (next to those of two of his brothers). Please let me know. And thank you for helping to preserve our ancestor's history!
