Bill McDowell: I live in Forsyth Co. GA. I am originally from Montgomery, AL. My Father was Sable C. McDowell. Grandfather was Charlie C. McDowell born in Pike Co. Alabama. I currently live in Cumming, GA (19 years) Forsyth County.
Please Note: If you find that I manage a memorial for a member of your family, I will happily transfer management to you. I consider the pictures of markers I publish as free to be used as you need them for your history files.
RE: Charlotte T. Brown McDowell Good to hear from you Bill. I have changed the cemetery as you suggested and changed my files as well. Thanks for the update. Annette has passed away which leaves my wife, also a GG Grandchild.
I have no problems with helping or getting your help with Whigham Family members. My Mom was a Whigham and I have been all over the south helping her chase down headstone photos and locations for where the Whigham's are buried.
I am aware that a contributor put Galloway on on Thomas memorial. I have made efforts to contact the contributor to no avail. Thomas was my 3 great uncle, and Thomas Galloway was his son. My 1st cousin 4x removed. I have not proof that Thomas should have Galloway on his headstone or memorial. My families association first project was to restore the iron fence and fix the grave markers in Pea River. Unfortunately no on thought to take photos of the markers before the fence was erected. I have a database with about 18,000 Whigham's that I update periodically and manage for the Whigham Family Association. I have attached the Joseph to his parents but was confused about the Mary Glover part.
RE: Problem reported on Goodson I had one like that too but couldn't reduce it. Can't they leave both since the reading is more legible on mine yet yours gives a fuller view? Anyway, thanks I'm learning.
RE: Regarding Crow Memorials That's what I'm saying. Hers were made first, so if any should be deleted, they are yours. It doesn't matter if the wrong cemetery was listed. By Find-a-grave policy the memorial with the earliest date gets to stay. She shouldn't have to delete them. What should happen is that she should correct the cemetery on hers and then you upload the tombstone markers to the memorials she already has posted and then you delete the ones you made because they are duplicates. Instead, you are wanting her to delete the ones she made so that you can have an increased number of memorials created under your name.
Then, if they are family of yours...which I doubt, but if they are within the 3 generation guideline then you ask her to transfer the ones she made to you.
