|Strong interest in geneaology and Cajun ancestry. I am Louisiana native living in Georgia and travel frequently back to Louisiana and have taken pictures of graves in Jeff Davis Parish and Georgia. I enjoy genealogy and helping others find their ancestors. I will gladly transfer management of a memorial to a direct descendant of someone I have added if you are an active contributor to find a grave.|

I have moved this memorial into the cemetery you suggested. I didn't realize he was one of my memorials, having been transferred to me. I don't remember this at all. I don't know why he was transferred to me, either, as I did not know him personally. I also see in the obit that it states St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, so it appears that the original creator placed him in the wrong one from the beginning.
Thanks for catching this so it could be fixed.

|Lane Bergeron Oliver||Vianney Cemetery|
Sorry... this was what was in the Funeral Home site so I went with that.
I have corrected and put in the cemetery you said for Rose Spears.

I am totally confused. I tried to make the correct cemetery per your suggestions. I am sorry for any confusion on my part. I have no clue how the cemeteries came up as Vianney. I would not use that one unless the obit said that is where the person was buried. There is one in the Find A Grave database.
If you want, I can transfer the ones I am not sure of to you ss you seem to have a better knowledge of what is correct.

|Richard Arnold||No D in last name|
Dear Mr. Hardy,
Would you please review the tombstone picture for
Pleasant Traylor Rountree in
Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Cemetery in
Welsh, Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana.
You have his last name listed as Roundtree and since I married one of his great granddaughters, I can attest to the fact that his last name is definitely Rountree, without the D.
Thank you for your help.
Richard H. Arnold
