born in Chicago and moved to California many years ago. Most family origins in Illinois both for me and my husband. Our roots are buried deep in Montgomery County. I am an avid genealogist - same for my oldest daughter and genealogy companion. We make yearly trips to Illinois to research family history. We've spent many an hour documenting abandoned cemeteries and will gladly take photos in local LA cemeteries.|

|JE||RE: The Brown Family|
Carol, thanks for much. I was able to go to Inglewood yesterday and got the photos. I think the John Brown who is buried in the Forest Lawn - Glendale cemetery (#75435463) is the wrong John Brown. At the Inglewood Park Cemetery, there is a marker for John A Brown 1855-1927 in the same plot with the other Brown family members. I will go ahead and create a memorial for the John Brown in Inglewood, and then please let me know what we need to do about the John Brown in Glendale.

I added a photo of Emmaline's gravestone to her memorial page. There is no death date on her stone.
|JE||The Brown Family|
I'm researching the John A Brown family, and I thank you for your addition of John A Brown's headstone photo and family member links. The memorial number is 75435463, and the cemetery is Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale CA.
I have been looking for two of Mr. Brown's sons - Charles Arthur Brown and Frank A Brown. I have found them in the Inglewood Park Cemetery on Florence Ave in Inglewood, CA.
I have been told by the cemetery that Mr John A Brown is interrred there as well. The date of interment was May 27, 1927. In the same area - Mariposa 140, are Frank, Charles, their sister Elsie Brown Duryea Webb, her husband Albert Jessie Duryea, and Elsie's son.
I wondering if it would be convenient for you to photograph the headstones of these family members? If so, I would be very appreciative.

|Solomon Alexander||RE: Koch Family Plot|
There already is a picture of Philip S. Koch (1913 - 1921 ?) on his memorial, but I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures of Louise and Emmaline Kock gravestones. I must have overlooked them. When the weather improves I will go out and take pictures of there gravestones.

I have no issues with using the obit, and understand the newspaper aspect. (I do it myself) but removing the last names of the living helps me to 'not worry'.
Again, thank you for helping with this one :)
You do great work! Keep it up :)

Could you remove the LAST NAMES of the LIVING relatives listed in her bio please?
Her brother (Otis) was my father in law and its 'just a little too uncomfortable' for privacy/security sake.
I'm sure you'll understand :)

Carol thank you so much for the transfer!
|Kathryn Wilson||William Zac Lowder|
Hi, this is the first time i have ever asked for a transfer, so I am not sure if there is a protocol, so please dont think me rude, but I would appreciate it if you transfer my brothers memorial over to me? Thank you!
Kathryn Lowder Wilson.
