RE: Barbara Pickell
Thank you for responding to my message. There are three Brown Cemeteries in Greenup County, KY listed on the Find A Grave website. One is near South Shore, KY. This may be the one referred to in the obituary as it would be south of (below) South Portsmouth, KY. South Portsmouth is just across the Ohio River from Portsmouth, Scioto County, OH. Hope this is helpful. Our cemetery has always been known as the Brown Family Cemetery and never as just the Brown Cemetery. Thank you again for checking this out.

Charles Hutchison #109753796
I found his Huntington, Cabell Co., WV death certificate and this is what I found:
Charles Hutchison born Oct 7, 1849 in KY died Dec 22, 1925 in Huntington, Cabell Co., WV.
Burial in McKnight Cemetery near Ashland, KY.
-----
Check findagrave # 59966500, there you will find a photo of his tombstone. The tombstone also includes his wife's name. Also in this cemetery are the tombstones of Millard Rice and his wife Leona (Daughter of Charles Hutchison).
-----
I talked to an Ashland funeral director and he said the term Ashland cemetery at that time also covered the cemeteries of Catlettsburg, McKnight, Golden Oaks and others. It was kind of a generic term and didn't have to mean THE Ashland cemetery.
-----
I really appreciated the addition of the obituary though! Leona Hutchison Rice's husband Millard Vickers Rice was a traveling photographer and they lived all over the place. Now I can add Detroit to it. I am still trying to discover when SHE died.
---
My interest is in the Rice's as they are my line, in case you wanted to know.

I have a photo of the above taken in Webster City, Hamilton Co., Iowa with his friend Gerald Hopkins Haddox before the 2 buddies went off to WWI.
Any relation of yours?
Also, do you know what the F & AM stands for in Lynchburg F & AM Cemetery?
Thanks,
Lee

Gloria:

Thanks for the up-date for the children of William Henry Sylvester. I added them to the bio for him and his wife. I didn't find the children listed on Find A Grave. Maybe the info will help someone along the way.

Hope you are doing well. Take care and stay in touch.

Ida

Young Martha Drake at Olive Branch
Gloria, may I ask you to delete the picture you added to her memorial? It is actually of her little brother Isaiah's marker. Thanks for all your hard work at Olive Branch Cemetery.
