Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Indianapolis, IN. I'm a big Colts, Pacers and Fever fan, and a Hong Kong Phooey fan also. I like to go to all the cemeteries around here and some outside of Indy to help families find their loved ones, relatives and friends that normally can't travel here to see them. I've been doing research on my own family for a little over seven years, and its been very fulfilling to me to find distant family members, and especially ones that have been forgotten. I'm currently researching the names Waller, Dimmitt, Pippin, Wilson, and Ferlines in and around the areas of Morganfield, Marion, Henderson, Crittenden, and Uniontown, Kentucky. Gold Hill, Shawneetown, and Old Shawneetown, Illinois, and Mount Vernon (Posey Co.), Indiana. I would greatly appreciate any help from anyone who can help me in those areas, and I would also help anyone who needed it.

Please visit the Slave Cemetery in my Virtual Cemeteries Section before you go, letter (F) on my virtual cemeteries list. There are so many people buried in those cemeteries that were taken from their families, beaten, chained, mistreated, lynched, unnamed, and forgotten while they were alive, as well after they had died. Please leave a little love for them to show them that they are not forgotten.

Please leave a token for our military people, letter (H) in my cemetery list. They are the ones that kept this country free, lets not forget them. Thanks so much.

John A Wilson headstone
Hello Derric,

I now live in Shawneetown. I've been doing genealogy for 14 years and I too love to visit the Cemeteries. Recently we went to the Gold Hill Cemetery, (unkept) and took pictures. I've added many names to the Gold Hill Cemetery listing on Find A Grave and photos to as many as I can. Your John A Wilson's headstone lists his parents as J & S. NOT Aaron. Any thoughts on this???

rose skaggs brother
I live out in California, rose was my mother's aunt whom she never had a chance to meet as she died from the flu pandemic, a sister named exie(estella skaggs wischmeyer) was her mom , buried in the memorial park cemetery, died about 1930 from a heart attack, there was also a brother named harry whom died in the 1920's from a heart attack, he can't be found, the mother of these three was a very busy lady woman founded the mutual milk company about 1904, I have seen very old pictures of the two story building with giant milk bottles on the front two corners of the building, harry was a milk salesman for the company.

You are going to think that I am an idiot, I thought this obituary for 1917.....but it is for your listing, Rose (though the obituary says Rosa and headstone says Rose), it is the same person, please list it.

RE: Herschel Johnson grave
Sorry for the lateness of this note, but thank-you so much for transferring my Uncle Herschel to me. If it wasn't for you, I still wouldn't even know where he was buried!
