I am a family researcher with both Southern and Northern roots. The majority of the memorials that I have posted are of people who are related to me, and in general I know more about them than what I have written in FindaGrave.|
Most the photos I have posted however are on memorials created by others, and they are of people who are not related to me. The "photos" are from sources published 1922 and earlier, which puts them in the public domain. I put them up in hopes that actual relatives will find them and be able to use them. Note: If you wish to know the source of a photo, click on it for an enlarged version. I write the source in the photo's caption which appears underneath.
If you find a picture of one of your ancestors that I posted, you are free to copy it for your personal use and/or include it in your family tree on Ancestry.com. Please however ask for permission if you intend to use a photo in a published work (and thanks to the folks who have bothered to ask me).
Two of my favorite verses: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:17) and "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

|Arthur Dirks||John F. Harrison family|
Thanks for posting the news clipping with the photo of this family. It's a great little summary of the family zeit. I'm researching the spouse of a child of this family. Nice find - keep up the great work!
|Judi Oldridge||Duplicate Accounts|
My full name is Judi Harris Oldridge. I used to use the pen name Jay Oldridge or just Jay online to avoid all those unpleasant emails we all seem to get. (It didn't work, by the way). I finally gave it up and signed my full name on everything -I do have two emails, and along with the pen name, I think this may have been the problem that caused me to be "cancelled out".
I have been a member for many, many years, but at some point in time, a lot of the records I had added to the Find a Grave site just disappeared, and I had to became a "New" Member again! I am known on the site now as my full name (Judi Harris Oldridge), but some of the older records that did not disappear are linked to Jay and they need to be blended with my Judi Harris Oldridge ones. Can You help me out here? I am sorry to be a trouble, but it really bothers me when folks think I am a new member. Discovered you fine folks years and years ago, as soon as I could get online easily, and I am still adding back the records that disappeared.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this,

He went by his "middle name." You included a photo to the duplicate memorial (#74516586, 2011). Would appreciate it if you transfer your photo to the original memorial above. Thank you!

|William Taylor||Samuel Thomas & Sousan Clark|
I am a descendant of Samuel Thomas Clark and Sousan Clark, who are both buried at Masters Cemetery in DeKalb County, Georgia. Do you have any information about their parents or siblings? I have come to a roadblock in my genealogy research. I also have two specific questions. Was Sousan's maiden name Masters? Was Rev Samuel C Masters her younger brother?
Thank you for your help.
Billy Clark Taylor
