I am another lover of history and genealogy. After 25 years of research, I have a pretty good idea of how I came to be, and it's been fascinating!|
The majority of the memorials that I have posted are of people who are related to me, and in many cases I know more about them than what I have written in FindaGrave. If you want to ask about them, use either the Edit button on their page or leave a message here.
Most the photos I have posted however are on memorials created by others, and they are of people who are not related to me. The "photos" are from sources published 1922 and earlier, which puts them in the public domain. I put them up in hopes that actual relatives will find them and be able to use them. Note: If you wish to know the source of a photo, click on it for an enlarged version. I write the source in the photo's caption which appears underneath.
If you find a picture of one of your ancestors that I posted, you are free to copy it for your personal use and/or include it in your family tree on Ancestry.com. Please however ask for permission if you intend to use a photo in a published work (and thanks to the folks who have bothered to ask me).
Two of my favorite verses: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:17) and "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

|Kathleen Aderhold||Caroline Butler Clark Clark|
I just read your bio, so...
2nd wife of James Washington and later married his brother Amos. Her step daughter - JW Clark's daughter- married James K Polk Butler, Caroline's brother. I know that the parents were Larkin and Martha Miller Butler (I have the marriage certificate from Meriwether County and saw the later probate ad listing her as his wife)Other than that I cannot find anything - if you know anything about the Butlers, I would love the info.

You have posted an image of William Salter to his findagrave memorial. His memorial has reached the limit of 5 images which can be posted without someone sponsoring the memorial. I have a similar image of better quality I'd like to post in place of your image, but don't want to remove your image if you'd prefer it remain.

Thank you for your quick reply. We would love to see the documents you referred to. Do you know if the "T" in Samuel's name stands for Thomas?
We both retired a year ago and are just getting into Derald's (my husband) family history. It is great to know there are experts in the family doing great things! We would love to keep in touch and lean on your expertise.

We are direct descendants of Warren Jackson Clark and William Henry Clark. We are interested in any other information you might have Samuel T. Clark.
