RE: Mattke
No I am not related; just photographing the cemetery.

Normally the name of the person on the memorial should be the name on the stone per the FAQs to avoid having duplicates made by accident.

I sent you SACs to add the name on the stone as a nickname hoping others will see it and avoid making a dupe. Apparently the person thought enough of the name to put it on their stone, but I can see it might be easier to find their records with the full name.

RE: Village cemetery

A good start may be to talk to Mark Wooley or Warren Riles they own the funeral home in Forestville. I went to school with Mark, nice guy. Their phone number is (716)965-2941. If you get a machine he will get back to you. I actually photographed that whole cemetery, actually both big cemeteries in Forestville.

Good Luck,

Capt. Lovewell and obituary on his site
Thank you for posting the obituary. I am not able to remove it however. That is something you must do..thank you once again, sorry you had so much trouble getting it to me.

RE: Email
Hi again, Kathy,

So sorry I didn't read your last email any earlier than just now- I just deleted it.

It would probably take some digging, but I would imagine we are related somehow! I find family research so fascinating! An older gentleman from Essex, UK shares a branch of my family tree, turns out he is my 4th cousin, once removed. He's now a friend on my Facebook page! I just love talking to him!

I haven't run across the surnames Boss or Mattke in any of my branches, but I don't always get very involved with all the siblings and who they married and so forth.

Have you done the DNA test from Ancestry, by chance?

It's getting a bit late, 5:30 comes too early! :) talk to you soon!

RE: Lovewells
Thank you, that would be very nice to see. If you like, you can just post it on my site as a message and I will copy it and then delete it?

Yes, I am related as follows: Nehemiah Lovewell b. 1803 to Zaccheus Lovewell b. 1758 who is my 5th gr. grand uncle. Nice to hear from you.

RE: Storm
Hello Kathy!

Great to hear from you! Yes, Catarina, or Catherine, is my 7th great grandmother, through my mother's side. Are you on Ancestry, as well? I see I have some "hints" for her parents on there that I haven't had a chance to look at yet. I love searching family history!

I live in a small town called Armada, in Michigan, have a set of 17 year old twin boys and an older son who will be 21 in April, and married (remarried) for 11 years.

Thank you for reaching out!

Take care,
