I have been researching my ancestors since 1981 or so. After a long absence from research, I jump started my genealogy in 2006.

I do most of my searching via computer, as I am rather geographically isolated from where the majority of my family members have lived and died.

I have learned so much on Find A Grave in just the last 9 months! It is certainly a treasure.

I am continuing to add to the data base based on past and more recent searches. I am related to a few of those that I have put into this data base.

The only truly dead are those who have been forgotten.

Hi! Have you been able to find where Zena's daughter Lillian Olive Rice McEwen went ? I can't find anything on her.

RE: Newkirks
HI,

I am excited that you contacted me. I don't seem to have Catherine Newkirk's husband. Could you tell me where and when she was born and her parents are? That would help. I now know what happened to our immigrant ancestor Newkirk.
Can't wait to hear from you,
Warmly,
Karen

I love the pictures of the Newkirk. Could you tell me how you are related. I am a Newkirk also.

RE: Wildermuth
The Lafayette County Gen Soc had a file that shows who and where they were buried. LCGS hasn't been great at documenting all their discoveries so I'm trying to retrace and get that done. Eventually, I'll have it up on their website but right now that site is very new and has little info on it.

Hi!
I transferred these as you requested. Are you related? Do you have further info on these two? I have been working on mapping the cemeteries and gathering history. It's a long, slow process. I have very little of these two and would love more, if you'd be willing to share.

I'm searching the Fisher family and see that you have some of the same people in your find a grave information as in my family tree. I would like to connect.

RE: 82723955 Zena Geiger Rice
Myra , the only thing I have for the father Clarence is a death year if 1954 in California. I have not seen anything on cause of death for Zena. As for son Clarence (Pete) did you want a location for address ?
