My paternal family moved to Washington State in the late 19th century from Ohio, Iowa, and Pennsylvania, while my maternal family came from Iowa and North Dakota (originally from Ireland) and Minnesota (from Germany).|
I enjoy searching in these states for my relatives and their relatives and friends.
In real life I have been a librarian for over 35 years and a politician for over 20, currently a port commissioner, and formerly a state legislator, a city councilman, and mayor.
Moak, Good, Mielke, Stender, and Redmond are some of the lines I follow.

|klassikat||Rieflin - Duplicates?|
Hi, I added photos of all the Rieflin's memorial markers that I had photographed.
It could be that the one in Claquato Cemetery is a cenotaph? Or that he was going to be buried next to her and then decided to rest in Old Tacoma with his first wife? Or someone thought he was buried there because he was her husband? Really hard to know. I guess the best way to find out is to call the cemetery and see if he is buried there.
It looks like Maude was his second wife as they married in 1913 which is about 3 years after the death of Stephanie (1910).
Groom's Name: RIEFLIN, WILLIAM
Bride's Name: NEWLAND, MAUDE
Recording Date: 02/10/1913
He might have also married a Mary Pearl Millsap in 1943.
I don't have long-distance so regretfully, I can't call the Claquato Cemetery. Wish I could help more.

Thomas, thanks for the edits. Gave me the opportunity to touch up the photo some. Your bio indicates you are related to Edgar somehow, so with that in mind would you like to take over care of his memorial? I am no connection at all. BJ

I have made the change to Donna's memorial as requested. I have also linked her to her parents. Her mother's memorial is also one I manage and I have made updates to it as well.

Per the duplicate grave I believe that my memorial is correct 166552423. I have found his grave in the Calvary cemetery and he is listed in the cemetery's records. I uploaded his grave photo to the memorial. I am guessing that memorial 105959869 is located in the wrong cemetery. They are right next door to each other. I am willing to do a transfer if you would like one.
Thank you for taking the time and effort the get the photograph of her headstone and the family thanks you also

|Terry Trackwell Kuhnau||Ada McGregor|
I saw your correction for the mother of Ada, changing from Eliza Jane to unknown. I did some research and I see that Ada's mother Jane may have died after the birth of Mattie in Arkansas (where Jane's parents were living). So Isaac appears to remarry to Eliza Jane (hence the confusion!) I can't find Jane in Find A Grave so the mystery remains and I have corrected the listing for Ada. Thank you.

It was in his probate records.

His son, George Elsworth Moak, was married to my 3rd cousin 3x removed, Rosamond L. Devers.

Thank you for the obit for Jonathan and sorry for the delay in getting it on his memorial. I updated it and hyperlinked his siblings since I can't find his parents memorials yet.
