I am the daughter of Oscar Shannon Eaton and Della Mae Wilkinson.I am the 5th child of this family. There are only 3 of us still living. I have one son, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. My husband George and I have been doing genealogy research for several years. We always find a cemetery or two to prowl through when we are on vacation.|
Researching: Battle, Bybee, Eaton, Freshour, Gotcher, Hinote, Horne, Huffman, Mayo, Meeker, Rohm, Ross, Sherman, Sweet, Welch, Wilkinson, Williams.

I was looking for Lower Willow Creek Cemetery which I know exists, I just couldn't find it.
I was also looking for a tiny cemetery that isn't listed on findagrave, and might not even exist. It has my 4th great grandmother, Charlotte Weiss Bode 1798-1869.
Supposedly it is on the Frank Jordan ranch, next to Bode Peak, on Bode Peak Road which is by Co RD 405B. On Google Earth I could see a spot that looked like maybe a small family set of graves, but on the ground I was just a great big bunch of lost.
I didn't find any other legible headstones at the eaten cemetery, but there were at least 2 semi-buried ones. One clearly said infant, but I couldn't read any more of the stone, so didn't know who it was. I did take pictures of them if you want me to send them to you.

I was in the area desperately trying to find two cemeteries, and I couldn't find either! I did find this one, and thought I might as well stop and take pictures in case it hadn't been recorded yet. It was interesting to see how someone has so nicely replaced the gate, as well as cut down that tree by the one headstone. What year were you there?
As to "E. Truelove", I wonder if maybe that isn't the person's name at all. That headstone had quite a bit of writing on it. I kept wondering if it was maybe "My Truelove" but the letters were no longer clear enough for me to tell for sure. It definitely looks more like an "E." than a "My". Also, I couldn't figure out, where the person's name was, if the "My/E. Truelove" wasn't the name.
I don't think I explained that clearly, except to say that I am no help in finding out who the E. Truelove is.

Bess, that would be nice. She is a distant cousin. Leonard

OK, I created a memorial page for the person of Alun Osbon in the Tarrant Cemetery.
Thank you for the pictures

I added the photo of your brother David today, I added two more as well, I will let you decide what you like the best, with the bright sun I was having trouble seeing the screen on my camera. your brother was right where you had said he was.

It was absolutely my pleasure. Your parents' resting place was particularly nice with the shade tree and lush grass!

FYI--the cemetery that you have listed as HOffman is really HUffman. I have started listings for that cemetery and will be adding quite a few pictures. I know from the listings that I have that your 2 Davis entries are in this cemetery.
You are very welcome!

Yes, Helen R. Hanna is buried next to him. I took a photo of their headstone in Feb 2008. I didn't realize how backed up I got. I've just completed entering names & photos from 2 visits I did in 2007, and those I did on 02/05/08 will be next. That batch includes the Hanna's. I've got 2 more rows to do & a quick walkthrough checking for updates & I'll be finished with the cemetery for awhile.
