Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native of Richland County, Wisconsin. I have been into genealogy for over 20 years. I have visited many of Richland County's cemeteries, and I have in the last few years started photographing some of them. I consider them historical treasures, and they are a great source for genealogists.

RE: Vermont Civil War Vets
Hi Andrew, WOW!! Indeed I am interested! I just spoke with the webmaster of the Vt, and Orrin Heath did not have a page. He will, I believe almost immediately!! May we use the photo's you have posted? You will be credited with anything you contribute.

You may be interested in registering as a descendant- it's a neat thing to do. If you are interested, go to the site.( In the upper right there is a drop down menu that will give you that option-- very easy.

Look forward to a reply from you,

Deanna French

RE: Richland Co. Stockwell/Garfield C.W. veterans
Thank you very much Andrew. If you are related to the Vt. C.W. Vet you can register as a descendant. Have you checked out the site?

Richland Co. Stockwell/Garfield C.W. veterans
I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had roots in Vermont.John Garfield and Robert Stockwell are two such patriots. May I use the monument photo's that you have contributed to their Find A Grave memorial pages, to post on the Vermont C.W. site? (

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

photo request for Ocean View
Ocean View Burial Park, owned by Diginity Memorial, is a privately owned cemetery. Dignity Memorial will not give information to a third party, you must be a relative. They feel that they could be sued for release of private information. I have the email to prove this!!!!!
If you contact their office (through email) and request their location I would take a photo for you. They would be willing to do a lookup if the request came from a family member. If you cannot figure out your connection, say you are a cousin.
Once you have the location just enter it into the memorial page and it will show on the photo request.
Thank you,

RE: Photo request for Agnes McGuffie at Washington Cemetery
The location of her grave was provided by the cemetery office. They have given me maps of the entire cemetery (+50,000 graves) so finding any location is real easy.

Photo request for Agnes McGuffie at Washington Cemetery
I am sorry to advise you that there is no marker in Lot 117 of Section E of the Washington Cemetery for Agnes McGuffie. However, I will use a photo that shows the empty space around an existing marker in Lot 117 to fulfill your photo request. There will be a descriptive caption with the photo (need to click on the photo to see the caption). If you are not satisfied with the photo, please let me know and I will remove it.

RE: McGuffie family

I have the location for Agnes (listed as Myrtle) McGuffie and will get a photo during my next visit, assuming that there is a marker there.

RE: McGuffie family
My pleasure, Andrew. In addition, I added photos to the existing memorials for Margaret and William McGuffie and created a memorial with photo for Nell McGuffie.
