I found Find A Grave when I was working on my family tree (several branches.) Wish I had found it sooner. I really got interested in creating memorials so that other people may find them useful in researching their families. If any of the memorials need corrections, please let me know. I will transfer memorials to family members if requested.|

I came across one of your memorials, James C. Haynes 74621437 and believe he might be a cousin of mine that I have been trying to locate for some time. Do you have additional information that might prove it? The birth date is correct, 23 Feb 1933. His middle name was Coy and his parents were Melvin Ray Haynes and Jessie Lee Watson Haynes. He was married to and divorced from Wynona Shamburger Haynes. Please let me know if you can help me prove that this is his grave. Thanks so much.

Hi Sarah. Texas Birth Certificate and Index indicates Bobbie was born in rural Johnson County.
As for the place Bobbie died, the Social Security Death Index indicates Cleburne. The Texas Death Index indicates Tarrant.
Gertrude (Trudy) Lackey Russell was Bobbie Ruth's sister-in-law and my father's mother. My father told me that Bartoo (Bobbie's second husband) owned a nursing home in Cleburne that she later helped to manage. She also may have spent some time with her daughter who died in Fort Worth a few years ago. My father believes she actually died in Cleburne while living in the nursing home after Bartoo died.

I sent a response, not sure it went through, so I will repeat it. My dad was named A.C. Initials only as were his brothers J.G. and R.L.
My brother was Alan Dean Beckham and his son is Alan Coy Beckham (grandson of A.C.).
Dad was in the Air Force in WWII and was a POW. He was sometimes called Ace, but legally was

Would you mind copying the photo you submitted for Peggy Burgess (7750174) to her husband, Jerold Burgess (7302690)? I don't want to post it and it not reflect you as the original submitter. Thank you!

Thank you Sarah. I thought maybe it would take you to the memorial page. Sorry, I did not know. Thanks, if you can that will be great. If not, that is ok too.
