PLEASE NOTE - I will NOT process edits or transfer requests that are left in my messages. PLEASE SEND AN SAC via the EDIT TAB for these requests!
I'm Mandy, and I'm a happily married mother of one living in central VA. I've always loved cemeteries, and thanks to this site I've found a great reason to spend my free time there!! Any nice weekend or evening you might run into me and my lovely assistants (son and dogs) at a cemetery in the area.
Currently I am working on documenting, in its entirety, Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA. It is the second largest cemetery in Virginia, behind Arlington. This may take a while! I have to give credit to the many members who have listed memorials from Blandford already: Paula, Barbara, George, and many others, but most of all Susan - you are the best!
To my knowledge, I am of no relation to the memorials I've created, except for those listed here. If you find any errors or omissions in any of them, please feel free to contact me and I will correct them expediently.
I prefer that you use the Suggest a Correction function under the "Edit" tab to request additions/changes or transfers - it makes it much easier for me to find the specific memorial that way. If you send me a request and I do not address it within a few days, please re-send! If you re-send and still get no response, go ahead and list my memorial on here, because I'm probably dead. :)

|Goldeneagle||RE: Ernest Frazier|
You created this memorial in Blandford 11/4/2010. there was a request for a photo. After looking all over Ward Lee, Sec. 3 I could not find it. With more research I found; According to cemetery records, Ward Lee, Sec.3, Sq.8 was never occupied by the above. In fact it was Hulon Jackson Frazier, who was removed 9/9/1990 to Lakelawn Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana. Apparently the space is not occupied now.
I have sent the above message to the requester.
Goldeneagle (aka Rudy)
Thank you so much for transferring my parents, my brothers and sisters to my care.
I appreciate all the work you do on Find A Grave.

Thank you beyond words for taking this photo, my 2nd great grand uncle. Karen Winters

Thank you for your response. I understand them being removed if they are faded or in the way of cemetery cutting grass. We all have our own way of respecting the graves. I just don't like someone taking something from a grave if they are not related,just because they don't like it.
