|Cassie Clark||Oak Grove Cemetery|
Hello! I was wondering if the burials listed in Oak Grove Cemetery came directly from Bill Reaves book? If so, is the listing complete as far as the book goes?
Cassie Sanford Clark
|Doc Wilson||Charles W Mason|
The photos you posted on the memorial page for Charles W Mason (F.A.G. ID #57192913) actually belong on the one for Charles Winder Mason (F.A.G. ID #144032468).

Would like a photo of my great-aunt Malvina Catherine Parker, please. I can be reached at email@example.com
|Linda Woodard||Ransom Hooks Cemetery|
Thanks for your efforts in recording the photographs, and available information on this family cemetery. Ransom was my great-grandfather; his daughter, Emma, my grandmother. I think I will have some additional information regarding Emma's children & siblings, once I collect what is available to me. When you photographed the tombstones, did you notice a small one for H.M. Woodard (infant)? He would have been the first-born son of Emma & Hilary Melvin Woodard.
Do you have any others by that name.

May I ask where you got your info on who is buried at the cemetery. My interest is in Memorial # 137556950 John C Cartrett, they are relatives of a friend. What source did you use.
|Jim Ware||RE: Flemington-Oak Grove Cemetery|
Thanks, John. I went to the Flemington-Oak Grove Cemetery today with Cassie Sanford Clark, a blogger who has a great-grandfather, two great-uncles and a great-aunt buried there. Well, at least their markers are there.
A section of the cemetery appears to have been marked off at one time. A marker there says that's where the Pine Tree Cemetery was relocated to in 1999. There are no grave markers at all in that section.

|Jack Davison||Martha Huntley Mooney|
Her husband,#131438246, RADM Brad Mooney, died in May 2014 and is buried with her. The stone is still as it appears in your photo but lacks his date of death so it will be a while before Paul Hays will fulfill that photo request. AS a temporary measure, may I copy the photo you posted and post it to his memorial until Paul fulfills my request with a photo of the finished stone?
Thanks for the correction on the spelling of their surname. I have corrected the memorials. -- Patti

|Jim Ware||Flemington-Oak Grove Cemetery|
I am working on a story for the StarNews about indigent deaths/burials in New Hanover County, N.C. I am looking for someone who is familiar with the history of the Flemington-Oak Grove Cemetery.
Also, I would like to talk with someone who has a family member buried there.
Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
