|My family has lived in the Kensal area since before it became a town. In honor of them, I have "adopted" the three cemeteries by submitting the names of these people and hope to have all of their markers photographed. (2 down, one to go)|
I have also submitted names for the rest of Calvary Cemetery in Jamestown, Edmunds Cemetery, St Margaret's Mary Cemetery and Buchanan Cemetery (both in Buchanan), Spiritwood Cemetery, the rest of Courtenay Cemetery, St Boniface and Prairie View Cemetery (both in Wimbledon), St Mary's Cemetery in Medina, Medina Cemetery and St Bernard's Cemetery in Oriska. If you would like for me to transfer memorials to you, don't hesitate to ask.
Feel free to use my photos for your family history or any genealogy purposes as long as you list me as the contributor.
The names I have submitted comes from the works of George Barron, who has collected and compiled names from just about every cemeteries in Stutsman County, as well as the surrounding counties. It would be a great injustice not to mention or credit George Barron and the work he has done for this area of North Dakota.

|Kizzie||Bloedel Headstone Photo|
Thank you sooo much for the headstone photo, and what a surprise to find a single photo covered all four requests. Didn't expect that, but it's interesting to see three generations represented on one headstone. Thank you again for your time and effort at getting out there to take the photo and then posting to the memorials ... it is very much appreciated! Sheryl

Thank you for these photos. It seems odd that the date of birth on the inscription is so different than the sources seem to support, but I suppose that does happen. I appreciate your time and effort in providing this photo and maintaining this listing. - Thanks again - Allison.
