|Bio and Links|
As time permits, I am researching various memorials that I have posted. I copy the information I find to the bio section of the memorials. I'm trying to make it easier for researchers to find the documents needed to verify what is posted. |
Most of my memorials are posted from photos I have taken or death records I've looked up. All of the pictures I have posted are mine or have been posted by my friend and those are hers, we do NOT post other peoples pictures and would hope for the same respect from others.
A close personal friend of mine got me hooked on this site and she sometimes adds memorials for me, so there are a couple of the cemeteries that I may not know where they are.
When I go to a small cemetery, I try to photograph all of the stones. At Larger cemeteries I try to get at least 400-500 pictures.
I don't go out specifically to fill photo requests but if I know I am going to a cemetery I write down the surnames so I can try to find them.
I am getting more and more confused by this site. If people create memorials with no burial location and I add a memorial for them in the correct location... I am asked to remove mine because theirs was on first; If people post memorials in an incorrect burial location and I post a memorial for them in the correct location... I am asked to remove mine; If people don't pay attention to whether or not a memorial exists and they post a duplicate... I am asked to remove mine.
This has me feeling like I am wasting a lot of time trying to help people.
It seems like there are many rude people on find a grave.

|Will Curtis||Smith Run Cemetery|
This cemetery is on Smith's Run Road in Weston, WV. It is off of Rt 33. From I-79, head toward Weston. Smith Run Road will be on right near a city park. Turn right. Cemetery is a few miles down on left. It's up a very steep hill.
