After telling you that I was descended from the Tull family of Somerset Co., MD, I decided to try to verify what others had told me. This is the same line as Handy Tull. The Wills are on Ancestry. After reading the Will of Thomas Davis who married Elizabeth Tull, dtr of Thomas Tull, (that can be established from the Wills), I don't see my Ancestor listed (Susannah Davis). There is one name I can't read which may be a nickname for her - looks like Shelly - but I need to keep looking for clarifying documents. There's another flaw in the theory, too, which I won't go in to. But this is the way it goes with genealogy!

Actually, several siblings in my Maddox family married siblings of John Blankenship. I was working on those lines yesterday, especially since John Blankenship then his son James (married a Maddox) owned the Mill which later became Wilson Mill in Jennings Co., IN. There is a cemetery across the road from the Mill where my g-g-g-g-grandfather, Dan Maddox, is buried.
But I am directly descended from a Tull family in Somerset Co., MD. I wondered if Maria's husband was part of that line.

Hi Kate....would it be possible to transfer 88307200 and 95806596, they are my great aunt and uncle. Brother and sister-in-law to my grandparents. Also, I would like to thank you for all the hard work you do.

He's my great grandfather. Can you transfer his record to me?

It is very possible the photo is his son as it is undated. I will move the photo to the son when I return from my travels. Thanks!

just out of curiosity I am wondering if you have a connection to this person. My wife is actually related to him. David Fenton and Rose Marie Charlton are 2nd cousins 2 times removed. Their common ancestors are Jacob Fenton and Catherine .

I got the one correction (date, as I recall) that way, but you can do linking as well through Edit--please don't use the "suggest any other correction" link for that. There's a link to making family linking changes.
When you use just "suggest any other correction...", it only gives a link to the memorial but not to the other family members, so the memorial manager has to search for them--and my not get the right ones (aside from the added work). It is preferred for the requester to do the searching and add the requested links through the "relationship" link in Edit.
Thanks for the update, but please use the new system to request links to family members.

Thank you for posting the tombstone photo for Francis V Poole 1924-1995. His mother Laura was my great grandmother's sister, and I've been searching for this part of the family for some time. Thank you! ~ Maureen
Hi Kate, You have requested a photo of John Worden at Worden Family Cemetery in South Kingstown RI. I can not locate any info on this cemetery - such a precise location. Do you know who created/databased this cemetery? Happy to photograph it if I can find it. Thanks.
