I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 7 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances.
Please be patient if I do not make an edit immediately. It will happen but I am not at the computer 24-7.

Connecting people
Hello, Could you please connect Gilbert F Sanchez (# 131883029 ) to his Father Ramon D Sanchez at Holy Hope? I wasn't able to add any information. I thank you and so does their family.

Manuel Severo Rivera
Every couple of years I do another round of searches in my family tree to see if there is any new info. I finally found the date of death of my great grandfather Manuel Severo Rivera! I shared it with all the families and everyone is so elated to have finally found the missing piece in the puzzle. We didn't know if he died in Mexico or the US. Thanks so much for posting this info! If you took the tombstone photo, great job!

Me again...also verify the day of her death. Some records say she died 11/7/1914.
Thanks, Peggy Harmon

Hello Kay, first thank you for all your devotion to this site! I am most appreciative. Can you verify with me (the photo is hard to see, even with a viewer) that the spelling of my husband's great grandmother on the tombstone is "Adoline". The family has always spelled it "Adeline". Is it possible that the "e" deteriorated into an "o"? I have a felling this would not be a nearby cemetery that you could go trippin' over to, so thought maybe you copied everything down and could verify.
Thanks so much,
Peggy Harmon

Hi Kay, I thought you might like me to share some info about our ancestry George A. Isham. He was a Lieutenant and fought in the War of 1812 in the Battle of Sacket's Harbor, NY. His Dad Capt. George Jonathan Isham was born 16 July 1759 in Colchester , CT & died 17 Aug 1843 in Henry Co., IN. He fought at Battles of Monmouth & Stony Point, NY (where he was wounded in left arm). Waynesville, IL was named after Capt. George Jonathan Isham's leader in Revolutionary War. Gen. Anthony Wayne died in 1796. Thank you for all you did on Find a Grave, Sincerely, Dan Fitzpatrick

They don't transfer comments any more. I double checked. So I had no way knowing why you decline it.

I will have to remember that the next time I decline one. Or get decline, tell or ask in messages.
