For me, photographing cemeteries has evolved from an interest in genealogy, nature, and a quest for understanding life. I enjoy following the paths of my ancestors, searching for their final resting places. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Finding graves brings a rush that makes the search worthwhile. Photo volunteer work is just a small way of contributing and giving something back to others. Cemeteries are by nature peaceful places, and I enjoy the peace I find while searching. Yet, my favorite cemeteries are those that are filled with activity, either relatives visiting their loved ones, joggers, or people walking their dogs.

Currently Pekin IL is home base (but I love to travel).

Thank you so much for the photos of Katherine and Pilmaier and her father, John (Johann). You inadvertantly put John's headstone on his son, John, Jr's memorial. Would it be possible to change them please?

Katherine - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=141079197

Johann "John" Evangelist Pilmaier - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=139170176

John J Pilmaier - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=139170176 (this pic needs to be moved to their father, Johann)

Thank you again for the photos, I treasure them & really appreciate your kind assistance

Kindest Regards,

Greg, thank you so much for finding these graves and photographing them for me. I know how much work it is to find graves for requests, so I truly appreciate your kindness.
