Bio Photo "Every Stone Is A Person And Every Person Has A Story"

.....or that's the way I look at what we all do here, at least. And while all of us are not professional genealogists, we're all here to document history, for ourselves and others....

That said, accuracy is of the utmost importance here, in my opinion.

RE: Mary Tulley correction
The Bartholomew Co. Genealogical Society visited the Kansas Cemetery last Monday, Memorial Day, which is the only day of the year visitors can get in. We had a large group, and I did some gravestone reading demonstrations; and we also tried to fulfill a few photo requests. It was a nice day, and the cemetery was mowed and tidy for our visit.

RE: Marion Breadheft stone
You're welcome. Maybe she didn't have a stone because she was the last in the family to pass? Take care.

I think Mr. Moore was married before too..and wasn't a widower. As he has children born early on before Mr.McComick's death.

William Andrew Moore (1914 - 1977)*
Jack Shelby Moore (1922 - 1994)*
Phyllis Louise Moore Pratt (1927 - 1995)*

RE: Jeannette Zehrbach McCormick
Her marker states McCormick. I was basing my information on Mr. McCormick's obit which is on a duplicated memorial and will be merged later with this one since it doesn't list a grave site.

The purpose of Find A Grave is to record grave sites. The memorial should show what you find if you go looking for the grave in the cemetery.Even if she was married to Moore at the time of her death, the guidelines for Find A Grave state to use the name on the marker for the title of the memorial and explain anything else in the bio section.

The guidelines are located on the left of any memorial under "Help with Find A Grave"...instead you haven't seen them.
